The tools are of high quality and the instructions are clear
5/5

It is quite a decent product, given the price. materials of the tools are sturdy, and the replacement laces should be sufficient for almost any baseball glove(although I haven't used the replacement yet on one). This package includes several diagrams that demonstrate how to reassemble the device based on directions given in the product instructions. The majority of gloves have lace. Obviously, the instructions can't cover every style, but they provide enough information to get you going. My gloves fit better after I tightened them up with this set. Because I did not replace the old laces with the one from the kit, they did not appear thin or worn out, but rather stretched over time. As I had no idea where the laces in the glove went, I found myself using the diagrams to figure out where to pull or tighten the laces and in what order. It was very helpful to use the tools To repair the laces in the past, I have used pliers, which damaged them By pulling the lace tight with the needle, we are able to provide good leverage. My only challenge was threading one glove's leather strap through the needle's eye since it was laced with quite thick leather straps. This product has a relatively small eye, measuring only 1/8" wide and 1/2" long, so keep that in mind when buying it.

All in all, I'd say this is quite useful and worth the price if you plan to restore any gloves. These tools will last for indefinite periods of time, and they'll allow you to extend the life of your favorite gloves.

The baseball season is just around the corner
4/5

My son, who was born in 2007, got this product as a gift in late 2007 so that he could learn how to restore his beloved In which a lot of game play has taken place. It seems like most everything you may want to redo is available You can see the lacing of the glove in the stitch. As part of the kit, you will also receive some well-written (but generic) instructions on how to reassemble it Don't forget to lace your gloves. There is no one glove that fits all It is typical for teenagers to do so). Despite my only complaint, I had a lot of fun playing with this. I only wish the threading tool held up better. A quarter of the way through the revision As I was lacing, the wood handle separated from the metal stitching rod, which caused some delays. However, I succeeded in finishing the project by jerry-rigging the wooden handle into the stitching rod. To complete the job, you must rig the tool. Getting the results we wanted was a delight. My reason for giving "4 stars" rather than "5" was the stitching tool's inability to do the job. I even felt more insulted by the manufacturer's (not the seller) lack of attitude and complete failure to stand behind the product after voicing my concerns in relation to the failure of the product to meet my criteria. Tools mentioned in the reference. As far as they were concerned, it was your problem bub, not ours!.

The first one I bought broke
3/5

This is my second one. The price is too high, to be honest. The tool is a pair of wire cutters, but you can skip them and just The tool consists of a wire and an awl used to poke a hole in the lace for the wire. Personally, I find that the Tanners brass or stainless steel threaded end needles are superior because they last longer and are more stiff. This is the only thing I got because I thought it was the only solution that was all in one. However, after using it twice, the wooden handle of the pull loop tool broke off from the needle, and I had to resort to using needle nose pliers for the Save money, but buy a tanner's needle, needle nose pliers, and your own lace instead. I hate the lace on this dress. If you're looking for the best shoe on the market, go with Mizuno lace.

It is only effective after A pair of gloves needed to be relaced with this
5/5

So far, everything seems to be in good condition. As I was stitching, I used the thin needle a lot, and when I was done with it, this needle was bent all over the place. Trying to bend it back was the only thing I did. While the punch and the wood handled device that resembles how you thread a needle were useful, I only used them a couple of times because when the leather is in the tip it becomes so thick and wide that it is hard to get it through the glove holes. My fingers had started burning/blistering after about 30 minutes due to all of the pulling, so I put some gloves on. Despite the fact that this pack came with leather, I didn't use it In comparison with the other gloves, the Mizuno Ball Glove leather was thicker and had a better feel to it. There were some other reviews that stated that some people just found that this stuff fell apart on them, but I did not experience that.

You should spend your money somewhere else
3/5

It's my honest opinion that this product isn't worth the price it's being offered at. It should be noted that the tools are not of the highest quality. (With the exception of the wire cutters, the metal is almost like plastic). It feels like you're working with toys, and they broke during the first try. There is a semi-rigid lacing on the shoe There's a good quality, so that's great, but there is no reason to spend 20 dollars for the lace. I gave it two stars over one (instead of a one star score) purely because I was actually able to reread the paper I will not lace the gloves again with these tools, as the process was extremely painful. Rather than buying an U-needle, buy a lacing needle (instead of the lace one), some wire cutters (or heavy duty scissors if you have them) and As I said, I'll do my best. It would have been easier to build a kit by using the parts elsewhere, but I chose to go with the easier route instead. Please do not repeat this mistake.

A great way to give your gloves a new life for a reasonable price
4/5

The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the tools are quite I restrung a glove for the first time, and the process went fairly well (I only rearranged the top laces of the fingers) and it looked decent when I was done, even though the glove is close to the end of its life at 35 years old. An old person! There are only a few drawbacks, such as the tools aren't very durable (the handle detached from the metal punch tool) and the u-shaped handle is not the most ergonomic In this 'U'-shaped needle, there does not seem to be room to rest a leather strand at the bottom of the needle.

The tools are of low quality
3/5

I ordered this since it appeared to be a kit with everything I needed. A couple of the tools (specifically the lacing tool) are not of high quality. I tried to lace the second stitch on my son's glove, but it ended up falling apart while I was doing it. There is no indication in the directions of when to use the different tools given the way several different types of gloves are laced. A very good value, especially since it includes 3 x 72" laces, cutting tools, and I'm keeping the kit for these reasons, but I'm going to have to order something else to actually use it My glove needs to be laced.
