The chin is bumped by the corner of the mouth. This was purchased for my son to protect his chest surgery incisions. It did a great job of cushioning him from the seatbelt, but the wide corner kept poking his chin when it was positioned for the incisions - It's not a major issue; it's just a minor annoyance for him while he heals. I solved the problem by folding the top corner back and securing it with a quick stitch.

Velcro of poor quality is ineffective

My review is in the process of being rewritten. The Velcro isn't working anymore. It won't stay on my seatbelt because the Velcro's soft side is worn out and won't allow the abrasive side to adhere. It will stick to everything except its opposite, and the corners should be rounded to prevent the points from flareing out. It smacks me across the face. I'm disappointed in the product's poor quality; it should last much longer! I would advise you to look for a different location. Don't throw your money away.

For my open-heart guy, this is a welcome addition to his comfort! My husband had open heart surgery and a large incision down his chest, so I bought him this to help him cope with the pain of wearing a seat belt, and he loves it

Seat belt padding is adequate, but it requires more anchoring points on the seat belt; it provides adequate padding for the shoulder, except that it will turn on the seatbelt by itself during multiple departures and re-entry

access to the vehicle If you don't pull up on your seat belt before exiting, it might get caught in the door. The padding is held in place by only two small 1 inch strips. I would advise the manufacturer to add a second velcro strap to better secure it in place.

Protection is extremely important

This pillow is fantastic; it made positioning the seat belt away from my thyroidectomy scar a breeze, and it allowed me to drive safely after only a few days. Of course, I took it with me on the way home from the hospital. Because I'm short, I think I'll keep using it to keep the seat belt low on my neck. The pillow is extremely comfortable to sleep on. I like the dark green color that was used to make it.
