It is more comfortable and is not as thick and high as the old block pillow that causes leg pains. As I am 5'2" 186 lbs, the slant of the chair is great for driving and sitting down, and because it has a high back, my butt is not touching the cushion. For the price, it is an excellent product. The second round was much more comfortable because I stayed on my knees on a gel cushion during my first round due to the block pillow. Since I had a BBL and have been using this for over a month now, I have to say that I am thrilled with it. The butt pillow is not as hard and thick as some other butt pillows, but still provides a good amount of comfort and won't numb your legs at all. With my crazy commute of an hour and a half to work, I drive with this every day.
