Questions & Answers
The OasisSpace toilet seat riser attaches to the toilet bowl lid and sits above it. There is no need to attach anything.
The four legs support the seat, which does not rest on the toilet. There should be no problem with the toilet's shape. This OasisSpace toilet rail appealed to me because it was designed to fit a variety of toilet shapes. There was no problem for me. This is an excellent product.
My toilet is 6" away from the toilet paper roll and 10" away from the tub, so it fit perfectly.
I believe the Oasisspace Raised Toilet Seat is superior to PCP because of its compact size, which allows it to fit into small bathrooms, between fixtures, and over a variety of toilet bowl shapes and rims while supporting up to 300 pounds.

In the year 2021, we wish you a happy new year! I'm 6'3" and weigh 295 pounds, and I recently had a total knee replacement. This thing is solid and comfortable to sit in, but there's a catch. There isn't enough room in the hole to put your genitals down so you can pee while sitting; the hole is only big enough to poop in, not both! Big guys, be careful; this is designed for smaller men and women. If it had a larger hole, I would have given it a 5, but it is well-made and attractive.
One of the blue thumb screws was missing (the package stated there were 12 but we only received 11) and the seat clamps on one side (which were installed by the factory) did not line up with the frame. I took photos of the ones that do and don't line up. With the existing holes, there's no way to move them.
Okay, so the first issue was that the parts and screws were mismatched. I finally used gorilla tape to hold it together. Then there's the fact that it was designed for my ex-boyfriend, who is about 6'8" tall. My toes do not touch the ground because I am 5'6" tall. When you're having hip surgery, you don't want to be doing that. Then - It's not very sturdy, and the measurements don't match the description at all. I'm in the Twilight Zone, to be honest. There has been no offer of a refund. It was a $150 waste. I'd scream if I could just get my feet back on the ground.
It's something I'd suggest to anyone recovering from leg surgery of any kind. In terms of installation, I would have given it five stars. However, because my toilet area is too small, I was unable to use it. Their customer service department is extremely accommodating and willing to work with you. I'd buy more products from the in r site in a heartbeat.
It was then simply a matter of determining the seat's height. Because I have long legs, I had been sitting on the toilet seat that was attached directly to the toilet. This is more comfortable for me, and the handles are higher, making it more stable for me. Just so you know, the seat is also wider.
It reaches a good height in this manner. I had trouble putting it together, but my brother, who is much more mechanical, was able to put it together in no time, and the quality is excellent. Even if they are screwed in, these seats are far superior to those that only sit on the toilet. The situation has improved.
My husband uses it, and the only issue he has is that the suction cups on the back legs aren't strong enough to keep it in place. When he falls over and sits down, it moves a little. It's simple to clean and, aside from the moving, it's a great product.
Due to a hip injury, I required the additional height and rails. This seat is still a little too high for comfort, even at its lowest setting; I'm 5'6", so average height, and it's still too high. Anyone less than that will have difficulty. It would be ideal for someone of a tall stature. The seat is hard plastic rather than soft as advertised, and the fact that it is a little high adds to the discomfort. In terms of stability, I've found that it holds up well to my weight, and I'm not light. The assembly was simple, but someone with arthritic hands might need something to help them grip the bolts more tightly. Overall, I'm going to keep it because, let's face it, returning it is a pain. It'll suffice for the time being, and hopefully I'll be able to get my hip fixed soon.
