I was happy to find that the NOVA Medical Products Toilet Seat Elevator arrived quickly and My elongated white rise arrived conveniently packaged with easy to follow instructions as well as long bolts, washers, and wing nuts. Installation was very straight forward and straightforward. In just the right height, the toilet seat was raised by the riser. The raised toilet seat built into the walker style over the toilet was proving difficult for my husband after back surgery. I did not like the round seat style or the walker The elongated version of any riser that I looked for was not available in any of the stores, not to mention that I searched endlessly for anything similar to this riser in stores. It took me a few stores to order this seat via Prime and it arrived the next day! Seats such as the one with the walker style handle are much more comfortable and easier to use. To install, you simply screw the long screws into the other parts of the riser, then place the whole thing under your toilet seat. Despite being made of a hard plastic surface, it was easy to clean and was made of a non-porous material. A combination of bolts held it together tightly during use, and it did not shift or move. His recovery from his surgery was improved by this, plus the price was about half that of what you could find in a store. My recommendation is to give it a try. Despite the fact that we have a Beamis toilet seat, this did not work for us. In order to prevent the bolt from falling through the attachment holes, the washer must be used.
