In order to pull the plastic commode liners up to where they extend above the top of the receptacle, cover the receptacle with the plastic liners. The seat should be put in place, the plastic pulled up should cover any holes around the receptacle, and the seat should be lowered. By doing so, you will have a little more of a barrier and liquid will not spill over the top of the container. You can always cut a disposable bed mat in half and place it over the front and back of the commode if you do not wish to use a commode liner. This is what I did at the beginning. In other reviews, it is claimed that the bucket doesn't line up. However, it is also on a track that can be moved around easily and should never cause any problem for either a man or a woman. I believe the height is one of the highest, but we didn't need the maximum height in the end. Among the rest I looked at, this seat was the right choice, and the reviews on it here disappointed me so much that I lost a great deal of time considering other options. There are some reviews saying the bucket didn't line up and caused problems, but that appears to be untrue. The chair is in general a great piece of furniture for a great price. The backrest can be taken apart easily, while arms can be dropped down and out of the way. It is easy to pack and move, as it is assembled. This bucket comes with both a bucket with a top and a toilet adapter, which both function.

Although the other reviews noted that the bucket was strong, comfortable, and easy to assemble, the bucket does not fit a man that is over six feet tall - the handles are too long for an adult man. This would likely be the perfect gift A gap appears in the back of the bucket if you slide it toward the front of the rail. There is a gap in front of the bucket if you slide it towards the back of the rail. It would be appreciated if someone could tell me how to resolve the "gap" issue.

So far, this has been the best commode chair I have found. There is a slide out pot that can be removed while still seated, which is one of the best features. One complaint I have is the wood under the padding makes the front of the chair uncomfortable when one sits for a long time. All other commode chairs I have used have not been as comfortable as this one. A new update As a result of using it for some time, I have updated my review to five stars. Also, I have discovered great 3/4" locking wheeled casters from Service Casters Company that I use along with the chair so it can be moved around.
