In the middle of my mother in law sitting on the commode, it broke. She is only 128 pounds, so it snapped at the weld. It is an extremely poor quality product. If the manufacturer would call me, I would appreciate it.

A sturdy model with an opening large enough for a child, this model is wide enough and has a sturdy construction. With a good handle, a deep bucket is easy to clean You'll have no trouble getting up. Even though there wasn't many commodes with slide out trays, we had one. A man should never do such a thing. The price is great and the assembly is easy. While I was in the hospital, my wife put the whole thing together (four nuts). There is no need to look at different models. Just order the one you like. You’ll need a case of 36X36 absorbent pads, a couple of them under the pads for added floor protection, and you’re all set.
