Questions & Answers

Does it need to have a commode on it in order for it to be used? Whether I can put this over my toilet for hoovering over it is a question that I have. ?

As well as over my round and oval/elongated toilets, it worked.

Is it approved for a certain number of pounds?

If you weigh less than 175 pounds, it works best for you. This product can hold up to 350 pounds, but the rails are not wide, they cannot be removed, or they cannot be lowered, so a larger person would have to stand up to use it. isn't a place to put your legs out. When you are large, you have to sit with your legs closed while using a toilet, which is something most people do not do. The only recommendation I would make is for average sized adults. I have bought one for a person who won't use it.

The height of this commode can only be achieved by applying the feet to the very first setting once the legs are adjusted? Plan on using this for a person who is not tall. ?

There is 15 3/4" between the surface of the commode seat and the ground. The position of my belt is adjusted to the lowest setting for me because I am 4'7".

Is it large enough to fit a 5 gallon bucket underneath? Is the gap between the bucket and the seat going to be large? There is a gap, but how large is it?

It took me about a minute to measure the height of a 5 gallon bucket of driveway sealer. In the 14th century, there were The height of the image is 5 inches. A commode such as this one comes in a range of heights, with the lowest measured at 14 inches. A foot and a half. It appears that you are doing well.

The best choice for people who have mobility issues
5/5

A must have for people who have had knee, ankle, or foot As a result of two foot and ankle surgeries, I found myself unable to reach the toilet on my own, so I humbled myself and purchased this potty chair to facilitate my recovery after surgery #3. That would've been great if I got it sooner! A simple and easy-to-assemble unit that can also be moved The bar next to the seat can be used to place a roll of toilet paper Your doctor advises you to take lots of water so that you can flush your system of general anesthesia and relieve constipation caused by pain pills. The only problem is that you will be making numerous trips to the bathroom. A foot in front of the other. Under the influence of alcohol. By placing the potty chair next to the bed, users were able to go #1 safely and conveniently. As for my caregiver (husband), he said it was easy to just pour the bucket's contents into the toilet, wash, and sanitize. As a way of keeping the bucket smelling fresh, he sprayed it with an enzyme cleaner we use for getting rid of cat and dog urine. Its seat is similar to the seat in our portable camping potty, which is sturdy and stable. Unless it is clean and empty, the bucket may be difficult to empty of more than urine. However, once it is clean and empty, I found it useful as an emergency container for "throwing up". Keeping odors in check is easier with the lid. With a weight of 165 pounds. The solid arm rails made it possible for me to transfer from bed to potty chair without fear of everything collapsing if I stood on my good foot and stood on the solid arm rails. Disclosure I own the following real estate As a result, I scootered myself to the bathroom toilet for #2 because I thought it was too much trouble for him to deal with it. It's not like he has even changed a diaper of a baby.

A size or weight that is smaller than average
3/5

A commode designed for slim or small people can only be used by this person. Even though the chair might hold 350 pounds, a person that large would be too big to fit at the table. The item you are ordering can't be returned, so proceed with caution.

I got my a$$ saved
5/5

The server did not tip me. I am thankful for the surgeon who saved my butt after I had foot surgery. In a wheelchair, I was alone at night for days at a time, and this saved my life when I was alone at night and couldn't leave my home. As soon as I get up in the morning, I put it right next to my bed, so I could swivel onto the potty with my good foot. The seat held me great. I was worried it would tip over and I'd end up in a writhing pool of pee on the floor. (I weighed 195 lbs at the time. Don't judge me. *)
I got the plastic bags but did not use them. Is there any point in going through this? The problem can be fixed simply by washing it out, so you don't have to deal with it This bag of garbage is going to sit in the municipal dump for.

These trash bag liners work well, and they were able to be found at a local store
5/5

Does what it is supposed to do. The chair was easy to assemble, except I had an issue snapping on the seat and back because my hands have had surgeries and they aren't strong enough to snap them onto the chair, but otherwise I had no trouble assembling it. Though I would like the tissue holder to come with it, I will make a holder out of cardboard material. I even use these as my bedside commode liners and they work well (They have a wide slit along the content, but fit it perfectly around the perimeter of the bucket, which is way better than having to pay a gazillion dollars for something small and necessary).

The product is of high quality and easy to assemble
5/5

A few days ago I received my first order of the Drive Medical Steel Folding Bedside Commode in a damaged package and the product was missing parts. Several parts were badly crushed and it was impossible to assemble them. When I tried to return this, I received an "Item not returnable" message. Amazon immediately offered to send me a replacement or refund after their customer service team spoke to me. It was suggested that I simply scrap the first shipment since I chose to replace it. I don't need to return to the hospital. As of today, our replacement Drive Medical Steel Folding Bedside Commode had arrived, and everything is great. It is sturdy, made of high-quality material, and adjustable to a large range of heights, which is just what we needed. Taking less than 5 minutes to assemble, it was very easy to put together. Those in need of a bedside commode will find this product to be a good choice. In the future we will be facing health problems, and this will help us prepare for them. In the meantime, it's fully assembled in one of our closets and stored until we need it. A large part of our frequent shopping on Amazon is due to Amazon's great customer service.
