To measure the foot, I went up into the attic and measured it. From heel to toe, it measures 15 inches. was once in a large cast, as well, and had no trouble with it. Taking it off might be a bit difficult, though. It might also be a good idea to contact If you need more measurements, they can provide them to you. Wishing you all the best with this.
This foot sleeve was ideal for my post-foot surgery showers. It did not leak into the bandage even when I took vigorous showers.
There are a little over 3 inches between the top and bottom rim. This is a five foot long piece. The fit should be perfect!
After washing the exterior with body wash, it is dried. Make sure the water is well rinsed. The inside of the coat should be pulled out mostly, and it should be thoroughly dried. The inside and outside of my clothes have both been washed.

My other waterproof cast covers have not performed as well as the ones I used. The water would always find its way inside of my cast cover, soaking my bandages. As this is my second time using this brand, I thought I would try another one. The Wilsco waterproof cast cover is fantastic! No water has leaking from my showers since I have been taking daily showers. Despite giving my two dogs haircuts and shampooing, they had no problems with the cast cover. The plastic is sturdy, so I'm sure that I can store this place and use it again at a later time. The full leg cover would work equally well for both genders. This pant has plenty of extra length for someone like me who stands 5'6 she wears 32" pants. My last brand was difficult to put on. This one is much easier to put on. A cast can even be applied to the arm with this product. I highly recommend it.
The last time I got a cast on my ankle, I started using this for about 3 weeks I placed my boot over it and it does not fit, but it is perfect over the cast. I wear my cast down to just below the knee and the cover has provided complete coverage every day while I shower. My doctor told me the water would ruin the cast and I would have to replace it if I got the cast wet - I am paranoid about getting the cast wet now. It is fantastic to be able to take a shower without having to worry about my cast. Highly recommend this.
After her cast (kneecap to toes) was applied, I went through with it right away. It is not so fun to have a sometimes stinky prepubescent 12 year old athlete/dancer running around in need of help getting a Although I was worried that it would be too big, it fits perfectly! The cast is dry after every shower she needs a little help to get it on just right, but that is fine with me because I prefer to know that it is on correctly instead of worrying that it is too big. So far this seems to be a good cast cover to last a while, and I saved the box in case I need it again the next time a child with a broken limb needs a cast cover. It's definitely worth checking out!.
Upon receiving this item, I was pleasantly surprised. There hasn't been a drop of water that gets past it, and I've used it several times. Water runs right off when placed correctly on the large, flexible plastic at the top which is just thick enough (though not too thick) to keep it from getting caught within the brackets. I would guess that when the water runs off, some may just pull it up and push it down an inch or so, which would cause the plastic to be below the blue ring for a couple seconds. It is a pretty large boot. It was much more roomy than I expected for a size 8 so I was pretty middle of the road. It is very likely that I can get by on just one unit for the 6 weeks that I will be wearing this cast, so I consider it quite Without a garbage bag, I would have been unable to achieve the same results!.
I checked the reviews before buying the Waterproof Leg Cast Cover, and saw an image of one that had been ripped. I commenced reading about the problem after seeing the picture. I was desperate to get it right, but due to so many positive reviews, I gambled on the product.
When I first tried it, I was determined to get it right, but it ripped. It was a disappointment for me. I decided to try again (cut to the quick), and this time I had my thumb pulling the flexible membrane and holding it back from the ring. I found this to be the secret to pulling the membrane over my HEAL part of my cast, where it will most likely In a jiffy, it was out of the way. The cover has been used for more than five showers and baths now, even with the small rip on my first attempt and it is still For those of you who need this product, I do not have to expound on how life-saving it is.
The bottom line is that it is a real and effective system.
During medical school, the "Cast Cover" is actually referred to as a "Dry Sock". It's absolutely amazing how well the Dry Sock works With this product, you can be assured of 100 percent reliability. 86-year-old parent had a skin graph as part of treating a wound to the ankle and lower leg, for which I purchased the Dry Sock. As long as the bandage(s) remain dry and unobstructed, she can easily put on and take off the device by herself. This Cast Cover / Dry Sock is made of high-quality heavy gauge material that is flexible at the same time. My recommendation for this product is very high.
My favorite thing is when a product works the way it should. The cast of my wife was keeping her very dry for weeks after she broke her ankle and was almost immobile. We purchased one of these so she could shower at least and, even though she is very small (5'1", 100lbs), there were no leaks. The relief of being able to take a shower without having to worry about getting your cast wet is evident for anyone who has ever worn a cast that got wet. The product seems durable enough to last very long after the healing time that was initially anticipated.
I was so relieved to be able to shower after foot surgery. When it comes to showering, it is 100% waterproof. As of a year ago, I did not have this when I had my first foot surgery and was forced to wrap my foot and leg in a plastic bag with duck tape and shower with the door open and my leg outside the shower as I feared Prior to my foot surgery this year, I tested out this cover - it was very comfortable and easy to clean A cast cover and a sock were worn when showering, and the sock was completely dry upon coming out of the shower. Over the next two weeks after surgery, I never experienced any dampness on my bandages when using the cast cover. I was able to put it on and take it off easily. My recommendation for this product is very high.
