My son is 11 and I ordered a child's four. He wore a size 7, which was perfect for him. In spite of our waterproof cast, it is still not advisable to submerge them in water for prolonged periods of time, so I purchased this cast cover as an extra layer of Use of this product will provide very good results In order to make the rubber last, you had to make sure that it was stretched out fully at the top and smoothed out at the bottom. There may be a leak if there is any rolling or crimping at the upper end and the seal may not be completely watertight. There are a couple of inches of tight rubber on the lower arm - around 2 inches. That's the way it is. For a watertight seal, it seems to have to be this way. I find it a bit uncomfortable at first and I need to get used to it. During the course of one day, my son took "breaks" from the product by taking it off for 20 minutes or so, and then adjusting it again. On the package insert, it actually states you shouldn't wear it for longer than 60 minutes at a time without taking it off and resting the arm a little. With all of that said, I find this product to be a Godsend. There is no way anyone could give this product such a terrible rating based on comfort alone. In order to let your child play in the water while wearing a cast, you decided to get the child a cast. A situation like this isn't ideal. Yet, this product allows you to produce lemonade from the lemons you have on hand. I was supposed to take my son to an indoor water park on a long weekend trip when he broke his arm in gym class TWO DAYS before. An unrelated family also participated in the trip, which took place over a number of months. Having to sit on the sidelines watching the other kids have a great time while he watched without being able to participate was a tough pill for me to swallow. Thankfully, Bloccs and Amazon 2 are there to help Get free shipping when you order today! My son was able to PLAY at the water park thanks to this product. It was all part of a cast! My jaw dropped when I saw that. (He rode every slide because the glove part of the waterproof cover is There is a soft rubber grip on the thumb part, I'm not sure if he put his thumb in it or not. He was able to grip ladders, tubes, etc. simply by grasping the handles - I am very pleased with his skills- With his covered hand, he had no problem gripping or using it), he could SWIM, he could completely SUBDIVERSE HIS ARM in the pools, and he was having a blast. Were you satisfied? No, you weren't. Is it reasonable to expect the trip to be less stressful if he did not have a broken arm? Without a doubt. Unfortunately, we did not have any control over that. Our company was able to provide a solution thanks to this company. We were able to save our vacation. kept a grin on his face the entire time! As a mum, it's the best feeling in the world! This is a great product that I highly recommend.
The smallest long arm cast covers we could find were ordered - each ranging in size from 2 inches to 3 inches It is stated in her bio that she wears a 6 The baby is 12 months old and weighs just under 19 pounds There were many options for fit and (lack of bulk) and this one stood out far and away. Since she has worn the seal several hours each day and it has not caused any irritation to her skin, she definitely likes it! This cast has not touched even a drop of water since day 3 of our trip. Thanks to it, we had an amazing vacation. We are so thankful for you.
Our plans for the water slide and the expedition on the cruise were especially traumatic to her because she had high expectations. Taking a dip in the ship's pool, swimming in the ocean and seeing the sights Taking a swim. Having found the answer to our dilemma on Amazon, I looked further for information. A stress response. The bloccs waterproof sleeve for my whole arm was delivered Wednesday, and I am very impressed with it. Having our shower & bath ready for use within 2 days of its arrival was a great first impression This bath tub. As a result of both experiences, her cast was There was such a sense of excitement. On the ship, she took a trip down the water slide to get a real sense of what it was like. I have been swimming in the pool for two hours at a time. I am still dry. It was then taken for a swim in the Sea of Cortez for a time of about three hours Stay out of the waves and out of the water After all the swimming and playing, it still held up The waves even roll around & we even roll around in the sand This is my favorite purchase! I am totally in love with the sand! I appreciate your help in saving my daughter's vacation and other expenses We appreciate you helping us feel less anxious! I wish I could give it more than 100 stars! A drawback to the cover is the need for it to be tight around the end so as to keep out water and dust. The first time my daughter wore it, she complained that it was tight and uncomfortable Some of the soreness was caused by the open wound. In the aftermath of the two-day conference After wearing it three times, she no longer complained about how tight it was either because it had stretched a little but it was still watertight or because she was just used to how tight it was. As a reference, my daughter is 7 years old and a half. A size 7 clothing is worn by her. It was a child size 4 that we ordered for her According to the size chart provided by bloccs, I measured my daughter's full arm cast and made sure it was the right length. It measures 10. 5 cm at the top of the cast and 12. 5 cm at the bottom of the cast It fits perfectly in the size we ordered.
I would like to thank the person who created this! We were about to leave on vacation when my little girl broke her arm. We didn't know how we'd explain to her that she couldn't go swimming with her sister! She's 2 1/2 and I was afraid to explain to her. After discovering this magical arm sleeve, I found myself speechless. After trying it out in the bath, the cast was dry! We remained skeptical at first, but sure enough it worked! ). She went down the slide and her cast was dry! In the end it will be tight and have a good seal. (It takes me a bit to get it over the cast, but that's a good thing. All you have to do is roll it up like a sock or pantyhose to wrap it all around the cast! 1) This thing is awesome! Thanks for your kind words!.
There is no way for me to explain how much better things are now. Who makes it, and what does it cost? It would seem that the overhead and manufacturing would account for that. I think 3 bucks would be enough. The item is just a rubbery-looking piece of Although, I am asking myself, how much is the peace of mind knowing my 7 year old won't get her cast wet in the tub worth to me? I would say about 500 dollars. For that is how much it cost to buy
My only recommendation is to follow the instructions on how to apply it. Originally, I was not planning on putting it on my daughter's arm, over her cast, initially, but after ten minutes of insanity at trying to get it on, I decided to do so before I burned her arms. This process was made much easier by following the instructions. Would you have ever thought of that? A 5)* on a 5-point scale. There is no doubt in my mind.
