My son is 11 and I ordered a child's four. He wore a size 7, which was perfect for him. I was supposed to take my son to an indoor water park on a long weekend trip when he broke his arm in gym class TWO DAYS before. I would like to thank the person who created this! We were about to leave on vacation when my little girl broke her arm. We didn't know how we'd explain to her that she couldn't go swimming with her sister! She's 2 1/2 and I was afraid to explain to her. After discovering this magical arm sleeve, I found myself speechless. After trying it out in the bath, the cast was dry! We remained skeptical at first, but sure enough it worked! ). She went down the slide and her cast was dry! In the end it will be tight and have a good seal. (It takes me a bit to get it over the cast, but that's a good thing. There is no way for me to explain how much better things are now. Who makes it, and what does it cost? It would seem that the overhead and manufacturing would account for that. I think 3 bucks would be enough. The item is just a rubbery-looking piece of Although, I am asking myself, how much is the peace of mind knowing my 7 year old won't get her cast wet in the tub worth to me? I would say about 500 dollars. For that is how much it cost to buy
My only recommendation is to follow the instructions on how to apply it. Originally, I was not planning on putting it on my daughter's arm, over her cast, initially, but after ten minutes of insanity at trying to get it on, I decided to do so before I burned her arms. This process was made much easier by following the instructions. Would you have ever thought of that? A 5)* on a 5-point scale. There is no doubt in my mind.
