Yes, indeed! Cast covers are easy to put on and seal snugly to my arm, allowing them not to leak. I have my thumb cast to the side and this cast cover slips easily over it. My impression of this cast cover was very positive. It is unknown how long it will last, but the fact that I was able to put it on myself without assistance was reassuring. My recommendation for this cast cover is strong.

During her thumb surgery, my wife had a lot of pain Cast covers made a good solution when my hand was in a cast. They were inexpensive and worked The entry hole appeared to be too small to get over the bulky cast, and they appeared so thin as to be fragile, but they were extremely stretchy, went over the cast, and did not rip. When the hole was drilled, it condensed into a snug fit The water must be kept There was no complex valve, and we were able to use one three times before it became However, it was 1 of 3, so we went on to the next one. We could have rigged it again with tape, but three were in the pack. The one star off is because there's a lot of excess space, but for the price, usage was five stars, service was five stars, prompt, and it was very well priced. The product is what it claims to be.
I use it over and over again. As soon as I got my short arm cast, I looked for a cast cover to keep it dry during my daily shower. I fractured my radius a few weeks ago, so I looked for one to cover it. After opening the package the first time, I thought "There's no way this is going to work. ". My arm with the big cast simply didn't seem to stretch enough to fit inside it, and even if it did for a moment go over the cast, there would be no way for it to shrink back down to a fitting that would keep out the water. There was no way I could have predicted that! The plastic bag is thick enough to keep water out, but not so thick that you can't still use your hands. It is long and has a zipper on one side. The cast is about 12" long, and there is about that much extra material at the very I am able to put it on and take it off by myself so easily. This covers has lasted 8 days of use and still creates a good seal on my arm! I am generally impatient and destroy things, but this cover has held up exceptionally well. overly tight, but It is my pleasure to recommend this product, highly recommended for shower/bath use! ) I still have another month in my cast and I am confident that these three boxes of three will last the whole time.
It is wonderful! The first cover I've had for five and a half years is still in good condition. It does not cut off your circulation at all, I did have to ask someone for help the first time to pull it over my arm, but I was able to do it by myself after that. It does not seem like a thick product, but it works well. The covered fingers on my hands make it easy for me to shampoo my hair without any trouble. It's a great product that I recommend highly.
I used to just put a rubber band on top of a plastic bag. My fingers weren't functioning anyway, so I was unable to use them. The only difference this time was I had to release two trigger fingers and remove cysts from them. The three layers of bandaging I received were thick there was no cast. I opted for this cast cover so that I could shower, use my fingers, but could not get the bandages That's what I thought, at least. There is nothing funny about these things. My bandaging was soaked to the skin even with a rubber band around my wrist. Besides being huge, useless, and just a complete waste of money, these things are huge and useless. If I'd had a plastic bag, things would have been much easier for me. Wet bandages and stitches were all over me. In order to reset the alarm, I needed the help of my husband It began bleeding a few days later, so I used a bandage and a rubber band the next time I took a shower. I highly do not recommend these. These things may keep water out, but I cannot see how they would stop me from getting wet if I had a cast on my arm.
They came as a set with another brand that was much thicker, which I purchased to cover my arm cast. the gloves slipped on easily over my cast and still formed a good seal on my arm with no leakage in the shower, they are soft enough that I could still use my fingers through them, and not so tight that I lost circulation on my arm. This brand lasted me for one month, and each can be used multiple times. It was harder to put on the other brand, though it was more expensive and looked snazzier. It was so thick I could not use my hand with it on and completely stopped one side of my arm from being able to move.
I think these cast covers are the best I have ever used. Wearing it is as easy as putting on a pair of gloves. No leaks. It refilled back to its original size after a few uses. I used one for four uses and switched to a brand new one just to be sure.
The plastic was very thin, and there was neither tape nor elastic at the opening to keep it closed. I was unsure of how well they would work. Furthermore, I was concerned that stretching the opening too much the first time I put it on would mean it wouldn't be useful the next time. As a matter of fact, they worked much better than I had expected, and I ended up reusing them Give it a week's worth of use. Repeated use of the opening results in stretching, but it remains The only thing I will say is that I was still very careful as I held up my arm while using them, and I kept the shower from spraying directly into the opening, but I would use these precautions with any The pictures of this product, and specifically the ones in which there is an arm in the cover, make the plastic appear to be a very different material than it really is (much thicker). As seen in the photo, there are three covers that are empty.
My stepson broke his hand and was finding it hard to cover his cast with plastic bags when no one was around. The 3 bags lasted him a month when I ordered this product for him. Designed to hold up to four large bags at a time, they are thick and reusable, but still slide right up, ensuring no water gets In the future, I would certainly purchase this product.
