Just keep this one small detail in mind. I chose this test kit due to the numerous positive reviews about its accuracy and ease of use, and I was not disappointed. My ex-wife became pregnant over 12 years ago, right around the time we divorced, and there was always the possibility that I was the father, so this product answered the burning question on our minds. We live two states apart, but this summer we were only 3 hours apart, so we all met at a park and took the test. The only criticism I have is that after swabbing your cheek, the q tip goes into a paper envelope, which quickly absorbs the saliva. If the swabs were placed in the mailing envelope with both swabs pointing in the same direction and not handled carefully, they could potentially cross-contaminate. We were aware of the potential issue and turned the swabs away from each other, but this COULD BE A REAL ISSUE if you weren't paying attention, resulting in a possible false positive. If you're doing this in a public place with others, keeping the samples separated until dry would probably help, but we didn't have that luxury.

I'm glad I took the chance! br>This test proved what I had suspected all along - I am not the father, and there is a 0% chance that I am. 00 and did the test twice to ensure accuracy. br>Even though it was during the Thanksgiving holiday period, they sent me an email confirming that they had received the kit, followed by another email with the results a few days later! She went above and beyond the call of duty in her efforts to assist me. Let me begin by saying that Jolene is absolutely incredible. She went above and beyond in assisting me in obtaining the information I required. They questioned the validity of the results after the test revealed that the man who was being tested was actually my father. I informed Jolene of my concerns, and she requested that the lab contact both me and my father to explain and clarify everything. She was always there for me when I called, and she always returned my calls quickly. They assisted me in obtaining the closure I desired, and Jolene was always available to me. I will be eternally grateful to this company for their promptness and above-and-beyond commitment to me as a client.

I had precise results in four days. I had a few questions and requested a phone call, which I received promptly, and my questions were promptly answered in a courteous manner. br>br>That was the only thing that concerned me. The cheek rub gets the swabs wet. They are then placed in a paper envelope, which is then inserted into the mailing envelope. I noticed a wet spot on the outside of the mailing envelope and was concerned that it would tear, causing the contents to be lost or contaminated. It dried up by morning and was no problem for me, but it's something management should consider.

I had also requested a phone call with the results, as well as a mailed copy, but I never received the phone call. It wasn't the end of the world; I was simply impatient and wanted to know as soon as possible! It was well worth the additional expense. We mailed our test on the Friday before a long holiday weekend, and the results arrived on the following Friday. This implies that the lab had to deliver the results in one day. 3 days. If you don't want to lick your DNA sample envelope, tape it. If you forget and lick the envelope to seal it, you can redo it with an extra envelope and swab. This product comes highly recommended.

They were very quick and responsive; I paid extra at the post office to get it there early, which made it arrive two days sooner than expected; once they received the samples, they informed me right away that they had them, and I had my results the next day! The only issue I had was with the envelopes they sent, which are depicted in the photo. They don't have a lining, so when wet swabs are placed inside, they bleed through. Cross contamination was a concern for me, but I was able to avoid it by allowing them to dry on their own for a few hours; keep this in mind when purchasing in case you miss the post office because you had to wait, as I did. To aid in this, I made sure that the parent and child's swabs were facing in opposite directions. Aside from that, they appear to be a good investment!.
