It is totally possible to do it yourself like I did (just make sure you have everything ready first) but a helping hand wouldn't hurt. You can see that I ran out of blood by the time I reached the control (it was pouring down my finger). My husband so, since it is working, will try one tomorrow. I made pretty clear conclusions in my results. When I tilted the card, I found that the third circle had changed and that results for A Positive. At first, I thought I had results for A Negative, but that was before I finished the final move of tilting the card. My experiment was a fun at-home attempt to determine my blood type. I understand that a doctors office or donating blood can provide you this information, but I enjoyed doing it at home.
