On the bottom, the padding is a little thick. It's made up of a bead-like material. It might be too thick when used with your desk's built-in wrist rest, but it worked for me because I was controlling the mouse with a small ergo bead cushion under my hand. Because the bead cushion on my desk kept falling off, I switched to this, which has worked perfectly. Just keep in mind that it will give your palm some extra height!
The glove can be worn on either the right or left hand and is completely reversible. Heather gray with black trim is the color. Every day, I put it to use.
It's a one-size-fits-all solution. It fits me perfectly, even though it isn't too tight, because I have small hands. It's also about the size of your hand, especially around your palm and wrist - It's possible that the tightness will help it feel better. Mine is my favorite - You could always return it if it doesn't fit, so you might as well give it a shot.
I'm not sure how long tape would stay on this glove. It is made of a spandex-based material. such as substance

br>I first purchased mine, along with their SmartGlove, six years ago. My contact pain is completely eliminated when I wear both gloves. The SmartGlove is starting to wear thin after a lot of use, so I'm going to order another of these smaller ones. br>I need two so that if I get up from my desk and forget to put the glove back on, I still have one at my desk. br>For a woman, I have wide hands that aren't too tight. It would also work for me if I had very small hands because all it has to do is keep the bead pad in place at the heel of my hand. br>It's like having a soft molded mouse pad attached to your hand, but it's not bulky and doesn't get in the way of typing. br>I consider myself extremely fortunate to have discovered such a straightforward solution to this vexing issue.
Before I bought this, I was a writer, worked from home as an administrator, took online classes, and was the editor of a web magazine, so it's safe to say I was wearing out my wrist from being on the computer for the majority of my waking hours. I used to work in retail and had developed a ganglion cyst on my right wrist as a result of all the strain on my dominant hand. I work on a laptop like a lot of people and don't have the support of a mouse pad because I don't use an external mouse, so I looked into getting some support. I'm not kidding, my cyst slowly shrank until it was gone over the course of maybe 6 months of wearing this. There is no longer anything there. It's so comfortable that I don't even notice I'm wearing it, and it's super simple to clean; I just hand wash it or throw it in the washing machine with my clothes if I'm in a hurry. I've had a great experience with this small wrist glove, and I take it everywhere I go with my laptop. To be honest, I wouldn't be able to work without it.
I updated my review and added a star after using the product for some time. br>br>From repetitive pressure on hard surfaces, I have severe pain in my pisiform bone (lower palm/wrist). My pisiform is well-protected by this glove's padding. It's a little tight around the thumb web, and my main gripe is that I'd prefer a steel spoon over beads. br>br>I also bought the IMAK RSI Smart Glove with Compression Therapy, which has more wrist support and is similar to the IMAK RSI Smart Glove with Compression Therapy in terms of pisiform pain. When I type, I use both. This glove is not a compression model, unlike the RSE Smart Glove, and I've found it to be more comfortable. Again, the RSI Smart Glove is a good choice if you only need mild wrist support. The Futuro Night Wrist Splint is my recommendation for serious wrist support (you won't be able to type with it).
The main issue with all wrist pads, whether memory foam or beads, is that they move around all the time. or you need to use your hand and arm to move around. As a result, their position is frequently incorrect. It's a waste of money to buy them. The IMAK RSI Computer Glove moves with your hand and arm, and the cushion remains in the proper position at all times. The glove is pleasant to wear and does not obstruct circulation. The material glides over the mouse pad without difficulty. It helped to alleviate my wrist pain, but it didn't completely eliminate it. I started getting numbness and pain on the side of my hand when I used the computer mouse. br>br>Great product to support your wrist. br>br>When I used the computer mouse, I started getting numbness and pain on the side of my hand. Last year, I simply spent too much time in front of the computer. There were two factors that contributed to my numbness and pain. The chair arm rest was putting pressure on my arm nerve near my elbow, and I was developing carpel tunnel as a result of the long, repetitive use. The glove helped, but the only way to get rid of the problem was to cut down on the amount of time I spent using the mouse each day and take frequent breaks. My pain and numbness are no longer present a year later. I don't use the glove anymore, but I still try to avoid using the mouse for long periods of time. The Logitech vertical mouse would be my next purchase if my pain had not subsided. It was given to me by a friend and is fantastic for relieving pain while using the mouse.
I can't imagine my life without this product. Every day, I work on a computer, and this glove keeps my hand in a position that prevents the chronic pain that comes with sitting at a computer all day. This is the fifth one I've bought. I keep two at home, two at work, and one in my bag so that I always have one on hand. I rotate them out and wash them in the washer without fabric softener (because it will ruin them) and air dry them. You should wash these every now and then because your hand sweats into them all day. I've recommended these to coworkers who were experiencing some of the same symptoms I was, and they all swear by them as much as I do. If you suffer from cramps, hand, finger, or wrist pain as a result of using a keyboard and mouse, you should try this product. You will not be sorry.
I'm not sure why I hadn't heard of or tried this product before now, but I'm glad I did. I have the same company's small wrist cushion, which I like because of its small size and the fact that it isn't neoprene, but it kept falling to the floor whenever I moved or got up. This has the same feel as the original, but with the added benefit of not having to position or pick it up as often. I also have a more rigid wrist brace, but I like that this one doesn't have a metal bar along the top, giving me more natural range of motion and flexibility when I don't need it. The thumb hole isn't binding or scratchy, and it's a very comfortable fit for my hand. I use it on my left hand, but it's great that you can turn it inside out and use it on either hand.
