Copper Compression Night Wrist Braces feature metal supports that run from the underside of the arm and into the palm. The forearms also have lateral supports that run in front of and behind them. I am happy to answer your question, but this is designed exclusively for recovery and would not be suitable for snow boarding, ice skating and other activities. Thanks for writing.

Carpal tunnel syndrome has made me purchase these to relieve the pain. It's been my experience that the velcro on other brands wears out before the braces wear out, so I liked the fact that these come with 3 heavy duty straps that keep them secure. This is why they get 5 out of 5 It is my responsibility to inform consumers about the quality of products they are buying. I rated these 3 stars because after a few months, the metal splint started wearing through the material and began sliding out. My finger was actually sliced by one of them, since I didn't realize the straps slipped out 2 inches while I was asleep, so when I went to undo the strap, they came undone and I cut my finger. I give this a 1 star rating. It would be an easy fix to eliminate that problem if they curved the sharp metal splint at both ends 180 degrees.

Day one of using the device prompted me to exchange it. Despite being delivered quickly, the replacement was frayed out of the zip lock bag it was delivered in. There was a hole in the seams where a metal brace was. It is no wonder that Drew Brees' teammates were concerned about his mental well-being if he actually used this device Despite the slices on his wrist, the Ace alternative is less painful and does not aim to kill you. I got it for five bucks less.
A brace such as this one is ideal for helping to relieve carpal tunnel syndrome or the My wrists are supported by this one while I sleep during the night, as well as to prevent them from bending. The band gives me ample support. I'm a big guy with a lot of grip and big hands. I like this product much better than other brands. If it were any larger, the large/xtra large would be too big. This is a book I highly recommend.

As of yet, these are the best braces I've found. This is a soft and durable material. I have only one issue with these gloves 1) the liner under the straps doesn't extend far enough up my arm to prevent the strap from slipping off and scratching me. 1) the thumb opening on my left hand is not big enough or it is I get a lot of pain in my hand from it.
