As a result of desperation, I purchased the Boveda packs. Prior to these, I bought humidifier tubes for my cigar humidor that failed to do their job as promised, causing the humidity to drop to unacceptable levels This is my second purchase of these packs and my 25 capacity humidor is in great shape. The humidity should be maintained at a consistent level and within the proper range stated on the label. Don't buy tubes or anything else. Take it here from someone who knows what they're doing. Every penny I spent on these packs was worth it, as they saved both.

The effects of these are magical. Using this solution as a humidifier, the humidity did not move within 24 hours. The cigars were placed in a glass humidor filled with one of these. The top of the box is covered with a small humidity meter. There has been no update in several weeks, yet it is still sitting There was a brief period when it was at 69%. My cigars shipped with a small moisture pack that I left behind but it shouldn't be a problem. It seems as though 70% is close enough to 69%.
