These aren't compatible with Apple's Siri or Homekit. I'm not sure why JFR/manufacturer claims this, but these are only compatible with Alexa and Google. On the box, it expresses this. Other Sylvania bulbs may work, but because there is no QR code, they will not work with HomeKit.
These bulbs connect to your WiFi network without the need for a router. Devices that connect via Zigbee radio signal are most commonly connected through a hub.
"Warm White" is a close second. In your Sylvania App, Alexa, Google Home, or other smart app, you can assign commands to various words. br>br>In my case, I used the word "Default" in my Alexa App to set the bulbs to 2700K Warm White.
These Sylvania Smart Wi-Fi Access Points are a great way to stay connected. The Sylvania Wi-Fi bulb can be controlled with the Sylvania Wi-Fi bulb controller. Fi app. When you link the accounts, you can also control them with the Alexa and Google apps (see video instructions for details). You can create rooms and assign people to them.

I just set up a few of these in my house and started configuring the home layout and groups; I had to borrow my girlfriend's phone to record this and my own phone at the same time, but it's really cool. br>br>WiFi, Scenes, Groups, Automation, and Schedules are all unavailable. In regular mode, the bulb is brighter than I expected, and the Warm to Cool spectrum is vast, regardless of your preference. Colors are bright; I know a lot of FULL color RBG LEDs are dim, but this one is much brighter than most. It's hard to tell in the video, but it's solid in real life. br>br>Be aware that this listing will be deleted. I'm trying to decide if I should wait for more sizes or just change fixtures to use standard bulbs because this product is HUE quality at a fraction of the price. I'm hoping they introduce flood and round bulbs soon. br>br>If I run into any problems, I'll let you know. I've already noticed how the software pushes configs to the bulbs; the first time they're in a group, they have different configs, but as soon as you change anything in the group, they sync. From a programming standpoint, it makes perfect sense. br>br>Please add more sizes as soon as possible! These bulbs make me want to decorate my entire house with them.
I was hesitant to buy these bulbs, even at the discounted price, after reading all of the negative reviews; the main issue appears to be getting the bulbs to sync. Thankfully, in less than 15 minutes, I was able to get all four to sync and work. The first and most important step, in my opinion, is to only download the SYLVANIA app that includes a WiFi illustration. For some reason, there are two apps available, which may be the source of the confusion. br>After that, I installed all four bulbs in my bedroom as well as my living room. I then went into the SYLVANIA app and pressed the discover button. It took less than 30 seconds to find all four bulbs. br>br>The next step is to open skills on Alexa and search for the SYLVANIA smart WIFI app. After you've downloaded the skill, turn it on. br>br>After that, you'll link the SYLVANIA app to Alexa in the original SYLVANIA app. br>br>Then, using your Alexa app, group the rooms in which the bulbs are located. It'll be ready to go after that. All you have to do is ask Alexa to turn on the lights in your bedroom. You can also tell Alexa to turn the lights blue by saying "Alexa, bedroom blue. " You can choose any color you want, and it will change to that color. Trying it out is a lot of fun. br>br>In conclusion, there are many steps, but they are not difficult to complete. In addition, I did not experience any of the syncing issues mentioned in the previous reviews. I was so taken with them that I ordered a second set for my other rooms. I hope you found this review useful. Enjoy!.
Because the instructions that came with the bulbs didn't seem to work, I called the customer service number and spoke with two very pleasant women. They appeared to be deafeningly deafeningly deafening The product release has gotten in the way a little, and it's difficult for them to get proper testing equipment because everyone is currently remote. Without a doubt - br>br> If you're having trouble getting these to work, here's what I did. I've got an eero mesh network that I set up with my iPhone:
1. SYLVANIA Smart WiFi - Setup is the correct App Store app to download and install. NOT SYLVANIA Smart Home (each app has its own set of accounts)br>2. I couldn't get the first "easy" setup to work. Setting up the first bulb was successful after performing the advanced setup, which required connecting to the WiFi hotspot on the bulb itself, then switching back to the app (all of this is properly walked through within the app and the advanced setup). br>3. The second bulb simply took with the simple setup (I didn't see an advanced option)br>br>I wanted to get this review up as soon as possible to assist anyone else having problems, as well as the extremely helpful support staff I spoke with, who appear to be about to be inundated with calls. I haven't tested it thoroughly yet, but if I do, I'll update this review.
One thing I notice immediately is that one of the two bulbs installed is brighter than the other, and they are both 100%. It's possible that it'll turn out to be a flop. At first glance, the smart phone app appears to be functional.
