Questions & Answers
These bulbs are 60 watts and look just like regular bulbs. For a recessed light, I'm not sure what type of bulb you'd need. These bulbs simply last much longer than standard light bulbs.
They can be used in a light fixture that is concealed.

I didn't see many reviews for the 3000k color (the K refers to the color, which ranges from yellow on the low end to white/blueish on the high end), so I decided to write one myself. br>br>Color is strikingly similar to, if not identical to, that of older incandescent bulbs. 2700K was a little too hot for me, but these are fantastic - only a tinge of yellow br>br>For the first time in my life, all of the bulbs worked perfectly right out of the box. Although LED bulbs are more durable, shipping can be a challenge. br>br>It turns out that photographing a light that shows color is difficult, but I've included one in the hopes that it will be useful.
When I contacted the manufacturer, I received no response. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I've been waiting for a response from the manufacturer for several weeks and have yet to receive one. The ostensibly "three-year warranty" is of little value. Over half of my pack has burned out in the last year, and the remaining ones are already flickering.
Bulbs are fine, but one of the three I started with burned out after only two days. Econotone's follow-up message got my attention, and I responded. I sent a follow-up email three days ago requesting a replacement, but I never received a response. If they honor the manufacturer's warranty, I'll be sure to update this review.
They are far superior to the lower lum bulbs, which emit a pinkish glow. Because the bulb part of the unit remains cool to the touch, it's ideal for use in camp trailers or lamps that require lower wattage bulbs. When you switch to LED bulbs, there is no loss of brightness, and while they may not appear to be as bright as the old-fashioned glass bulbs we all remember, they are far superior. br> So far, they've seemed to last a long time; none of the ones I've bought have died. Some of them have been around for over a year. I'm sold, and these will become my sole source of illumination!.
There is no need to be concerned about them arriving damaged because they are well packaged.
I'm glad I did because when I went to change them out, they hadn't been on long and were extremely hot, and I noticed the stickers had discolored due to the heat, which was not good. Even though the lumens are 800, they appear to be as bright as or brighter, in my opinion. The bathroom fixtures went from 24 watts to 18 watts, and the kitchen fixtures remained the same, but they're bright enough that I only needed one bulb per fixture. Any higher than 3000K is too close to fluorescent light, which is cold and harsh. Another reason I switched to these bulbs was the lower price, which I'm using with those DiCUNO GU24 to E16 base bulb adapters that you can find on Amazon; the reviews were better than the ones that come up way too often when you search. Even with the adapters, they fit perfectly in the fixtures; mine are approximately. Fixtures with a 9" dome. I wish I could go back in time and tell myself that I should have never let PG out of my sight. E to replace my old fixtures; I would have declined the "free upgrade" if I had known about the GU24s.
These light bulbs are fantastic. I was primarily interested in LED bulbs because they are more environmentally friendly and last longer, and I chose these because they were a good deal. I've been using the first of these bulbs to replace a ceiling light, and so far it's provided plenty of light (much more than I expected, which is fantastic). I'm going to replace my other bulbs with these when they burn out. br>br>I had no idea what to expect when I bought these bulbs, but I'm glad I did.
I can't do makeup in warm light because the colors never look accurate, and I don't realize if I went too dark on certain colors until I'm outside or in the office, so I use daylight or only slightly warm white light in the bathroom. br>br>These are nice bright lights, especially when used in a group. They were all in good working order when they arrived. These are a good product for a very bright white light—no complaints. I'm not sure how long they'll last because I've only had them for a week, but they do exactly what I need.
