Because they are low wattage, I don't see why they couldn't be used in an enclosed fixture if the fixture was designed for a 100 W bulb. There should be no problems with the 19W LED bulb.

An E26 bulb can be physically inserted into an E27 socket, and vice versa. br>However, just because a bulb fits and works doesn't mean your lamp installation complies with the electrical safety standards for which the lamp and lampholders were designed. A mismatched installation, in fact, can put you at risk of short circuits and electrical fires. br>Bulbs with an E27 designation are generally safe to use in E26 lampholders, but E26 bulbs used in E27 lampholders with 240V AC may pose an electrical safety hazard. In a nutshell, I would not recommend it.
I believe they will work if Alexa is in charge of something. It's just a bunch of bulbs, really. They'll come if the plug works. Mine are in a ceiling fan that Alexa operates via a Lutron light switch.

I hope this information is useful to others in search of bulbs! br>br>I bought the 100 watt "warm white" version of these. The cooler leds' bright blue is something I despise. I enjoy dimming bulbs and have rotary dimmers and tabletop dimmer slide switches all over the house. I discovered the Philips "warm glow" dimmable bulbs a few years ago, and they are excellent. The color/hue becomes "warmer" the more you dim it. They're pricey, but they come in a lot of different styles and shapes. I spent a ridiculous amount of money on them. Although there have been a few setbacks, overall I am pleased. br>br>I prefer a vibrant color scheme. In some areas, there is a lot of ass light. I've tried Philips bulbs with 60, 75, and 100 watts. The snag is this: The size of the bulb grows in proportion to the increase in "wattage. " The base is larger, and the entire bulb is bulkier, so it appears to be a cooling issue. Several of my overhead fixtures have glass covers or enclosures. In these areas (shower, laundry, and entryway), I occasionally require bright lighting. I can't fit anything bigger than a 60 watt Philips in there because it's such a tight fit. Bummer, but they give off a nice warm yellow glow. br>br>I was looking for higher wattage standard size bulbs and came across these. Another reviewer confirmed the size (as well as the product description, which we all know can be inaccurate at times, especially when multiple versions of an item are available). br>br>At their brightest, these bulbs emit a wonderful warm yellow light; as you dim them, the light becomes less warm and more cool. They definitely look like a regular 20“cool or daylight” led at 50% and below. Bummer. In addition, it is the polar opposite of the Philips Warmglow. However, because they are the same size as a standard 60 watt led, they fit in my fixtures. br>br>So, in areas where I need a bright light more frequently than a dim light, such as the shower and the laundry room, these are ideal. I like the dimming option, but I need to be able to see what I'm shaving and which stains I need to treat! I'm going to use these to gain that advantage. Aesthetics are sacrificed in favor of functionality. If you don't mind the blue, these are perfectly fine dimmed. ish hue. When the brightness is turned all the way up, it gives off a lovely warm glow. br>br>I prefer the Philips when I need a dim light for a bedside table, general ambience, or something that isn't limited in size, because it's warm at lower brightness but can be ramped up when needed. Yes, I'm OCD and extremely "discriminating," as evidenced by the following: I'm a picky control freak, as my frequently perplexed husband can attest, and I see a wider range of colors and hues than the average Joe, according to old art teachers and the guys at the paint store who constantly give me the side eye. And yes, I obsess over insignificant details like this. If you're anything like me, I hope this information is useful. br>br>Obviously, I can't speak to durability, but at just under three dollars each, I'm pleased so far. However, it would be great if they could keep that warmth at a lower brightness!.
Despite the fact that they are advertised as such, they are not Energy Star certified. They don't have a logo on the package and don't produce any energystar results. gov.
These bulbs, which I bought for a bathroom remodel, were extremely disappointing. I purchased them specifically because they indicated that they could be "dimmable" without flickering from 10% to 100%. When I put these bulbs in a new four-outlet light, they wouldn't turn on until the slider switch was almost to the top, and when they did, they flickered horribly with my Leviton 6674 dimmer switches. I went ahead and purchased some Amazon Basics 60 watt equivalent dimmable LED bulbs (which are excellent). The Leviton dimmer switches do not flicker and provide a smooth increase in brightness. The Amazon Basics bulbs come highly recommended by me. Dimming is a nightmare with these Linkind bulbs.
Although these light bulbs appear to be of good quality, I received a crushed package. What's the best way to mail these in a plastic mailer? I figured I'd give them a shot because they're not like glass bulbs, but they only lasted a week before dying. At first, I thought it was the lamp, but it turned out to be the bulbs because the failed one worked after being reinserted, but it died again today. I really wanted to like this product, so I requested that the bulbs be shipped in a cardboard box.
There are no flickering lights here. I didn't take precise measurements, but the lights come on around 60 minutes. 70 volts. There are no jumps in brightness or flickering as the brightness ranges from off to full. 100% will work with regular incandescent dimmers
Pros: It appears that the lumen rating is valid. They have a lot of color. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. Any slight drop in line voltage causes the lights to flicker. They flicker when the washing machine, dryer, or dishwasher is on. When the furnace is turned on, they go completely black for about a half-second. It irritates me a lot. We have 60W and 100W equivalents, and both of them work.
I tried using it with an Insteon dimmer, but the lights kept flickering and doing strange things.
After a month of use, the bulb had burned out. In a six pack, that's not a big deal, but it's 30 feet in the air in a ceiling fan, so we have to have the maintenance person make a special trip with a special ladder that fits into the apartment, which is a huge pain in the bottom. Add in the fact that I feel obligated to tip him because it's a pain, and these bulbs have cost me more than they would have cost me if I had just gone with a name brand. br>br>Would not buy again.
