(My previous review was censored, so I deleted it and am reposting it. ) In a small, dark room, the default "white" is very bright, but all of the other colors are dim and unimpressive. Also, keep in mind that they censor reviews here; I'm not sure why anything I said in this review would be flagged by their "sensitivity filter" for any reason other than they didn't like my rating. As a result, I reduced the rating to one star due to the item's poor quality, as well as the way they handle customer service and falsify ratings.

But it works great, and I'll buy it again if the price drops, as it has since I bought it about a month ago. Finally, while the white light has a wide range of brightness, it does "hum" a little at lower brightness levels. You'd only notice it if you were less than a foot away from the bulb.

I stood there admiring it and its sleek remote for a few moments before taking it to the darkest room in the house to test it out. It took me a minute to figure it out once I unscrewed the old bulb and replaced it with the new one, because it will not turn on just because the lamp is turned on; you must also press the "ON" button on the remote. I'd say it took me no more than 30 seconds. And once I figured it out, I had a BLAST! br>The colors are vibrant and saturated, and the overall effect is quite appealing! Red, Fushia, and Purple are my favorites, but they're all beautiful. The bulb itself is dimmable and can be adjusted to the desired brightness, with four different settings for cycling through all of the colors. Flash and Strobe cycle through the colors without fading, making them ideal for a festive party or holiday display.
