The light is still a little too green. I bought these lights because they have a CRI of 95. When compared to other CRI 95 bulbs, we can conclude that these are untrustworthy. They still have a noticeable lack of red wavelength light, making LED lights appear to be more green. When there is less red, there is more green. The reason for this is that producing strong red wavelength light for white LEDs is more expensive, so almost no company, including this one, does it.
The light color is as expected, and in my honest unbiased opinion, it perfectly matches the kelvin listing. These are something I would strongly suggest.
It's flickering and it's not even turned down! Amazon is making a comeback! I replaced the bulbs in the fixture with our other brand Edison bulbs to see if it was the fixture, but the other bulb worked fine. Don't buy these!.
Two of the four bulbs have dimmed and are about to go out. The baby is about three months old. I have no complaints about the two that are working properly. The other two have been failing for the past five months. I examined the internals and discovered that the ic is overheating and eventually burning out. It's time for a $30/higher-rated part, better heat dissipation, or no more SMD-style ic chips. If you intend to use them in a dimmer, DO NOT PURCHASE. The board is discolored, and the chip is shorted, generating a great deal of heat.
These are appealing to the eye and emit a pleasant glow. Aside from that, they're the worst leds I've ever used. I've had a few bulbs randomly turn off and on, and others flicker at a high frequency intermittently, and while they're dimmable, some dim more than others on the same circuit, which isn't a good look. In addition, it is inefficient - These are much dimmer when used in a dimmed circuit with other leds. This is not a good idea.
These bulbs were purchased for use in a ceiling fan light fixture. The edison bulbs have a nice style to them, and the light is a nice color. But I have two issues: the first is that when you turn on the light, it does not come on right away. The bulbs begin with a faint glow in the filaments and gradually brighten for 30 seconds to a minute before reaching full brightness. It irritates me greatly. My other issue is that I have three of them, and they do not light up a 10x10 room as brightly as you might expect; they are bright enough to read by, but not as bright as the regular led bulbs I have in my other rooms. So I'm not sure they're the same as a 65 watt bulb. br>br>Between having to wait for them to warm up and having to use different bulbs, I'm going to have to put them in the closet. I would not buy these or recommend them to a friend again.
These bulbs emit a slight green, as stated in a few other reviews (I was hoping they were just being overly critical). They didn't look anything like the 4000K lights I already had. I've since purchased a new set of 4000K bulbs (different brand) that are green-free and match my existing 4000K lights. After about a minute of being at 100%, these bulbs would begin to flicker (on a dimmer) as well. br>br>I'm not a lighting expert, but the fact that these have a CRI of 95 with a slight green tint seems odd.
The EcoSmart bulbs hummed on all of the top-rated dimmers that I tried. The Ascher bulbs are completely deafening in their silence. The fact that these bulbs have a slight but noticeable green tinge in comparison to all of our LED recessed lighting, despite having a 95 CRI rating, is a significant disadvantage. I've been using the bulbs for a few weeks now in the hopes of becoming accustomed to the color, but it's only gotten worse. So I'm back on the hunt for a good LED Edison filament bulb that matches our LED recessed lights in terms of color quality and white balance.
