This is an excellent white light. A 14-watt light bulb is equivalent to a 60-watt incandescent light bulb. Look for the equivalent wattage when searching for a specific wattage to get an idea of how bright it will be. Lumens play an important role as well. The higher the number, the more vibrant it is.

I Have to Be Honest: I was so excited for these bulbs that it was supposed to take a month for them to arrive - for some reason. But then, after two or three weeks, it arrived, and I was overjoyed. until I opened the box and found the first one to be cracked! br>br>Then there was the second one, which didn't work at all. and a third worked for about an hour before succumbing to death and never working again! The fourth one has been going on for three days, but I figured, why invite trouble - Just in case (since I'll always suspect manufacturing defects if any of them go out again or whatever), I'm returning everything. br>br>As a result, I'm going to be completely honest with you. These lights probably work fine, but I'm now "spooked," and despite the fact that I'm sure it was just bad luck, I'm going to look for a modern light bulb somewhere else.
1 years. These lights were purchased to replace the mellow yellow lighting in the house with a more natural looking light that would brighten the space. It looked promising after I turned off all the lights throughout, but after a few days, one by one, they began to go out. Keep in mind that in 2017, I purchased two 10-packs. My favorite application is in simple "screw bulb in" basement fixtures that can be used guilt-free as a night light. My first bulb in the same light fixture lasted for about 8 years. This one took about 3 days to complete! I was immediately repulsed by the color of the light, but I figured I could live with it.
