Isn't it just the bulb that's the problem? This is a good replacement for a Happy Light (depending on the model). You'll need a lamp with a European base if you don't already have one. If you don't want to spend the money on a Happy Light, get a full spectrum bulb with an Edison (screw) base and use it in your regular lamp.
The bulb is designed to fit into a European-style lamp. It is compatible with a GU24 lamp base. Look for one that has a standard/Edison/E26 base if you don't already have one. Any standard US lamp can be used with it. Any lamp won't help Vit, in my opinion. Supplements with up to 50,000 IU of vitamin D can be purchased. Please read the dosage instructions carefully, as there is a risk of taking too much Vit.
This bulb was intended to be used as a replacement for a Verily therapy light. It is, without a doubt, extremely bright. The lumen output is 1600. At a power of 26 watts, the color temperature is set to 6500K.
I'm not sure what you're getting at with your comment. This is a fantastic piece of equipment.

It's a fantastic bulb, but why would anyone use a GU24 base on it? Later, I discovered that I could simply use an adapter like this:

Arrived on time. This will be placed in the "Happy Light" on my desk. It's been more than a decade since it was created. The bulb had finally given up the ghost. I wasn't sure if I could replace the bulb or if I should just dispose of the light. The light was a pleasant surprise, and the price was reasonable. Arrived on time. I'm happy with the light on my face while I work at my desk because it was simple to install in the "Happy Light. " In the cloudy, bleak state of Michigan, this is ideal for SAD.
I made a mistake and placed an incorrect order. So there's no problem with the product; I'm just using this forum to inform Amazon that I'm unable to print the label. My UPS man, too, does not have one. When I contacted Amazon customer service, Edward informed me that UPS can scan the barcode on the item's inside packaging. Edward will benefit from additional training.
The bulb in my HappyLight broke when I dropped it. It was a cruel twist, because I bought it used and had to go to great lengths to get it. A starburst is visible in the shade. I seriously considered giving up and throwing it away. This bulb, on the other hand, was a perfect match for the one that had broken. It is something that I would suggest. It appears to be assisting my SADS in some way. EDIT, 2018. br> I've used it for almost 8 hours a day on most workdays, and it's still going strong. So I'll give it a 5 out of 5 rating. However, I would advise anyone interested in this to look into LED lightstrips in the 5000K or 4000K color temperatures, as you will get a lot more lumens per watt and they will last almost indefinitely.
Good- SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) is no longer with us. Every day at work, I use this in conjunction with an automatic switch on/off timer, and it's fantastic.
Do it all the time. This bulb was purchased for use in my desk lamp (the happy-go-lucky-go-lucky-go-lucky-go-lucky lamp). The whole of light is a hideous creature). To work in US lamps, I had to buy an adapter, which makes the bulb super long. My trendy desk lamp's shade is far too long. I don't mind if it protrudes from the bottom. It gives me a boost of energy. That is not a fabrication. br>This ensures that I use my happy light far more frequently than the 20 minutes I spend in the bathroom every morning getting ready.
My model vt10 happy light was a perfect fit. Since I'm now working from home, I put a light in my basement office window to make it appear as if I'm not stuck in a dingy basement, and it sort of works. My basement has "sunlight" even on overcast days because the temperature of the light is fairly accurate to daylight.
For a little extra light in a basement room, this lamp is very bright. For a single bulb, it's a bit pricey.
