Although they are small and compact, they do not last as long as they claim on the package

Used in a bathroom fixture, they provide a nice amount of light and color, but they do not last as long as the packaging claims. They are, however, inexpensive, so it isn't a big deal.

Finally, a CFL that isn't quite as long as the others

I was overjoyed to discover the 9-watt CFL mini bulb (equivalent to 40-watt incandescent bulb). The bulbs aren't too long for my lamp shades, and they don't shine in my eyes, which has been an issue for me in the past. Under my Tiffany-style lamp, the soft white color looks great. Lamps in the style of I placed another order right away.
