You're absolutely correct! I'm not sure about the measurements, but I know the 65 W bulb will fit in my ceiling lights.
Mine are 65w indoor flood lights from Phillips, which I bought on Amazon. One is three inches long, as measured by me. The diameter is 75 inches.

When I got these bulbs, they were completely shattered. I had to pay $2 because I didn't own a printer. 00 for UPS to print a return label so I could send them back. I believe it is absurd to be required to pay for the return of damaged goods.
They arrived quickly, but the packaging was shoddy at best. They were packed in flimsy cardboard squares with no plastic wrap or sturdy box around them, then thrown into an Amazon box haphazardly so they could rattle around. I'm surprised they weren't broken into pieces when they arrived. Apart from that, I liked these a lot at first. My requirements necessitated a soft white glow, which was ideal. However, about a month after they were installed, I awoke one morning to find shattered glass all over my hallway. It was the strangest thing I'd ever seen! The light seemed to have split somewhere between the metal and the glass, and gravity took over from there. Also intact was the filament. br>br>I'm thankful that no one stepped on the shattered bulb in the middle of the night, including my dog. That could have easily turned into a nightmare! It took some effort to pry the remaining base from the socket, but I eventually succeeded with the help of pliers (after making sure the breaker was turned off). )br>br>I'm worried because there are two more of these bulbs in my hallway that haven't gone out yet, and I'm afraid they'll go out as well. I'm keeping a close eye on them so that I don't have to go out and buy more right away, but I'm not going to replace them with this item. Be careful who you buy from.
If I had the ability to give a negative review, I would. None of the bulbs lasted more than 24 hours, indicating that they were a complete waste of money. I've been replacing light bulbs on a daily basis! These bulbs are not something I would recommend.
We have a villa in Florida where USHomes built our kitchen, and it's been 17 years since we've done any remodeling, despite the fact that it still looks great. These are the spot lights that came with our house and look fantastic while also providing plenty of light. A light will go out once or twice a year, despite the fact that I keep my kitchen lights on all the time.
In place of a burned-out bulb, I installed a new bulb. I decided to hire an electrician after it failed to light. He discovered that the bulb was faulty, and he replaced it with a new one, which worked perfectly. It cost me $75, which was his bare minimum! I went through the rest of the bulbs and discovered one that was not working. I received a $10 gift card from Amazon. 00 in cash back Despite this, I was required to pay a fee of $75.
We only use them for a few hours each night, and they've all only lasted four months! Other brands of bulbs have lasted for two years or more in our kitchen and other high-use areas of the house!.
After two weeks, the first bulb I installed went out. I'd return them, but it's been more than 30 days since I received them. br>br>The OLDER bulbs, which have been in place for 6 months, are still working fine, despite the fact that they are a waste of money. I'm confident that these will all be gone in 8 weeks, after which I'll replace them with regular bulbs. If you like throwing out bulbs, you can purchase these.
