Despite the fact that the color temperature is very high and the cri appears to be good, this is not a 300w equivalent in terms of lumens. A 150w equivalent GE daylight LED is 30% brighter than 150w equiv GE daylight LED is 30% brighter than 150w It's close to a 100w "reveal" LED in terms of brightness. The amount of light it sheds astounded me. Sad. I'm going to go back and see what I can do in its place.
When I see a 45 watt cfl bulb, I expect it to produce far more light than a 45 watt incandescent bulb. This cfl bulb, however, produces the same amount of light as a 45-watt incandescent bulb. For my still life photography, it's not very useful.
They outlast incandescent bulbs by a long shot. in addition to being brighter They produce a lot of heat, which can be beneficial or detrimental depending on how you use them; however, in the winter, it is beneficial because my room gets cold. In the summer, it's not so pleasant. It can also be used during the vegetative stage of plant development. It's important not to break them because they contain mercury, which can be dangerous if inhaled.
They're not as bright as I expected, but I have a smaller bulb that's just as bright and lasts a little longer.
