Questions & Answers
You can see how much to pour by looking at the indicators on the side of the bottle. According to the guy who cleaned my septic system the other day, this product works great and can last another two years between cleanings.
This encourages bacteria in the septic tank to break down waste, so if your toilet smells like a sewer, you probably have a plumbing issue.
You certainly have the ability to do so; however, Rid- X does not advertise himself as a toilet cleaner!

The science and logic behind this product's use are straightforward and straightforward. In order to achieve/maintain a good ratio of beneficial microbes to solids/paper/grease, beneficial microbes should be added to the septic tank. br>There are several contributing factors to consider, including: the system's age and condition, the size and habits of the household, and the pump's condition The frequency of inspections, the system's design and capacity, and the ability to properly inspect the system are all factors to consider. Taking these factors into account, those with common sense can easily understand that a smaller family with good habits and good pump frequency using a robust system will likely not need such a product, whereas a larger family with poor habits using an older, less-than-optimally sized system will likely need to (or, rather, SHOULD) 1) pump much more frequently and 2) boost/maintain good microbe levels by using Rid X or similar products. If so, it will provide the necessary microbes to effectively break down solids and grease, as well as reduce or eliminate odors caused by a low microbe count. Rid X isn't a panacea; it's a preventative measure. All of a sudden, you have a miracle in a bottle that can fix your bad habits or your overworked system. br>In addition, a thorough, objective inspection can be a difficult proposition to come by. The inspector must have extensive experience, as well as a thorough understanding of the system in question, and be forthright in his recommendations. It is necessary to consider all factors. br>Again, common sense dictates that if all other factors are taken into account, a quick sniff test can sometimes assist in making an informed decision about whether Rid X is required. If your system emits foul odors, your beneficial microbe count is low (for whatever reason), and Rid X will help your system function properly. In this sense, the Rid X claim that it "prevents septic backup" is correct, though only in your specific situation. br>Practicing good habits such as avoiding antibacterial soaps, bleach, and harsh chemicals, and only using one-time use items are all beneficial. septic ply septic ply septic ply septic Using safe paper is also a good idea. br>Rid X monthly works perfectly for my family. It definitely and without a doubt eliminates odors that arise without it, and it has noticeably cleared the main line leading to the tank over the years, which now appears to be very clean (despite being 50 years old). br>Obviously, if and when my children leave, and there are fewer laundry loads, dishes, and bleach used, achieving and maintaining a healthy beneficial microbe count will be easier. It may be possible to do away with the need for it. br>For the time being, I'm using Rid X and similar products to provide the extra beneficial microbes my system requires as a result of our situation, and I'm pumping the system a little more frequently. br>Below are some basic, fundamental principles, though they are by no means complete or all-inclusive. a comprehensive discussion br>I hope this information is useful in deciding whether or not to buy this item.
We purchased a home with a faulty septic system three years ago. When it rained even a small amount, it smelled awful and the pipes gurgled. And it had only been a year since the last cleaning! The pipes no longer gurgle after three years of faithful use of Rid X, and a faint odor appears only after a prolonged, heavy downpour. I am ecstatic. It's such an easy task.
a difficult job! We bought a bottle of this to put in our back yard's small doggy septic system, and it worked perfectly. The system has maintained its original depth, which we can see every time we open the hatch to add another compostable plastic bag of dog waste, and there is no sign of it filling up. To put it another way, the poo bags are decomposing as they should, and the process is odorless. When reading Amazon reviews of doggie septic systems, the majority of complaints revolve around the revolting concept of some owners' septic pits filling up with doggie manure. We haven't seen any evidence of this, so we'll take it as proof that it's working. Yeah. We've made up our minds.
Use on a monthly basis. My husband is a plumber, so we use it every month on the first. I've heard that if you properly maintain your septic tank, you won't need to pump it. We've lived in this house since 1973 and have never had a septic problem.
For the past 27 years, I've had a septic tank and have used this product on a monthly basis. During that time, my septic tank has never caused me any problems.
Your septic system, like your body's "system," relies on enzymes to keep things moving and broken down for digestion. I've been purchasing RID for quite some time now. For years, I used X Septic Tank Enzymes locally, but when I ran out, I saw it on Amazon and decided to order it. It's a cinch to work with. With your first flush of the day, pour some in. Everything will be "fine!" when you return home from work. " The last container I used up was probably $1 from a local store. 00- Despite the fact that it was $50 cheaper on Amazon, I went ahead and bought it. It has a pleasant scent. I've never had a problem with this product or brand before and will continue to buy it!.
The product is fine, but the delivery was poor. Two bottles were ordered- a year's supply, and when it arrived, the UPS driver couldn't get away fast enough, and it turned out that the shipping container was drenched in Rid-It. X that had seeped out of the sealed containers. As a result, I gave them back to you - Then I tried a second purchase of two bottles, which resulted in a similar leakage problem with the exception that more product escaped the bottles. My recommendation is to avoid purchasing Rid. X online.
I ordered a few of these bottles, as well as some other items. The liquid from these had gotten all over my other belongings when I received them. Other reviewers, I believe, have expressed similar concerns. Quality control is extremely poor. Besides, I paid full price for a full bottle, and I'm only halfway through it now. How would you feel if you went to the store to buy milk?.
