I've been living on a multi-generational family farm for over 20 years. The home is a level cast concrete home built into the mountainside and located on a rural road between two developed areas, but it is not connected to the city sewer system. On the lower level of the property, there is a 2k gallon twin chamber septic tank with limited percolation capabilities. I started looking for solutions when two of our three toilets started flushing much slower, almost as if there was something obstructing the water flow. Green Gobbler appeared on 11 of the 13 "Best of" lists that I discovered. br>On week 4, when flushed (no solid waste, only liquid), one toilet would fill up, then slowly drain to the point where it appeared empty and made gurgling sounds (as if it were clogged - see below). Sorry for the graphic; I was hoping to assist someone else who was experiencing a similar problem). We have these in our regular home as well as our treehouse vacation home. We use these monthly to keep our tanks healthy and eat properly when we're not there because we're back and forth so much. Our leach field was recently lost due to old age and tree roots, but our tank was found to be nearly sediment-free. That's a very healthy tank you've got there!.

I like to switch up the enzymes and bacteria that digest waste in our septic system, so I'll switch between major brands from time to time. The green gobbler is a low-cost, easy-to-use option. I simply drop one in the toilet on the first of every month and wait 5 minutes for it to be completely wet before flushing. It's also a good idea to run some water in the sink for a minute after flushing. There was no foul odor, and there was no mess in the bowl.

Green Gobbler is used by our plumber, and we use both GG and Rid- In our septic systems, there is a substance called X. The only drawback to this product is that it can get caught if your toilet has a small opening where the water flushes out. I slit the fabric and poured the powder down, which worked perfectly on regular toilets.

We've been using this product for about a year and it helps to keep the sludge in our septic tank at a minimum. It saves money on having the sector tank pumped out, which costs a lot of money and hasn't been done in 4 years. . . .
