This is a fantastic septic treatment. This is the third time I've ordered this item and I intend to keep doing so. My routine is to flush a packet on the first of every month. I haven't had any issues, and it has also cleared up a damp spot in my yard.

We tried this septic tank treatment because it was the only one that claimed to fix the occasional odor. It not only keeps things moving, but it also takes care of any odors that may arise. I was overjoyed to discover this product on Amazon because it provides the same treatment and is simple to apply on a monthly basis. For a year's supply, the price is also very reasonable.
On the advice of my septic tank guy, I've been using this* for decades; my system was installed in 1962, and it's still going strong. This, I believe, is due to the fact that I closely monitor what goes down the drain — essentially only ScottTissue and septic-friendly toilet paper. Laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, and dish soap that is saf(er). Garbage disposal, cigarette butts, baby wipes, feminine products, floss, and coffee grounds are all prohibited. Basically, it's just poo, pee, and TP, as well as this monthly treatment. br>br>*As well as RidX before that.

It appears to be the same box, packages, and calendar that our septic company has been selling us for three times the price; however, we only pump our septic every two years, so who knows if it works. We're told to do it, so we go out and buy it and flush it down the toilet. Having said that, our septic system has never caused us any problems.
