Questions & Answers

Is it possible to clean stainless flatware with it?

My intention is to use it on some old brass items I have, but the box lists 20 different metals and other surfaces that can be polished (glass, porcelain, enamel), and stainless steel is listed as one of the metals that can be polished.

This product can be used on gold plated flatware, right?

In general, yes, as long as you cannot remove the gold plate coating.

Are bronze stains removed with it?

Because bronze is an alloy of copper and tin, it should be fine to use. You can use it on brass with no problems.

I use this on a table that uses peeling iron. Where can I find it? If not, how should I go about it? Is that so?

When using lacquer thinner outside, I suggest using it with a spray bottle. Primer and paint should be applied after the dry well.

This was surprising, given that I had expected the tarnish to be so difficult to remove
5/5

Please let me know if you have Pieces of metal that need to be cleaned Here's the product. I, my husband, and I are sending a lot of silver dishes to You can also dispose of them. It was disgusting to look at them. MAAS is a product we learned about from a jeweler friend. In spite of my carpal tunnels in both hands, I did not want to use it for a long time because of the amount of rubbing and buffeting it would require. During the time I was packing up the boxes to send out I have been trying MAAS metal polish. Simply wipe it on, don't let it dry, and wipe it off is the reason the instructions state to do so. To wipe it off, I wiped in circular motions. This was surprising, given that I had expected the tarnish to be so difficult to remove. The silver serving dishes I have and have cleaned were very tarnished, badly tarnished, and had years of tarnish on them. These are now displayed with pride in my home. In addition to brass pieces, I found this product to work well on them In fact, I bought this order as a gift for my sister to use on family heirlooms. It is stored where our parents' silver is kept. Our mother can also display her beautiful platters and tea sets now that she has been able to clean them and use them.

All metals should be able to benefit from it
5/5

A friend of mine recommended this product to me to reduce rust deposits on my 10 year old STAINLESS flatware (where I originally bought the flatware recommended this product as well). On my cloth after I had used it on the stainless flatware, I found a large amount of black tarnish. I now have flatware that looks like new even though it is more than 10 years old. As for the rusty deposits I had been finding on the flatware after I put it in the dishwasher, I will wait to see if this works It is for this reason I purchased this polish, to hopefully help with the deposit issue. As recommended on the label, I used the black tarnished rag to clean a newer, but grimy stainless steel apartment sink (as I had done previously). In addition to that, the sink has been improved. Lastly, I used a small amount to add a few spinners to an inexpensive silver ring which is made from silver, copper, and brass A brass letter. There was no response to regular silver polish on the ring. Add a few drops of this and that to your skin It only took a few minutes to make this ring look so much better after rubbing it with a soft cloth. Although I haven't used this product before, I will keep it in my purse I think this is a fantastic find!.

This mistake by Maas can be traced to its scent added It is a shame that they once had an amazing product
3/5

Now, the lavender scent separates from the polish and is a sticky Getting a good gloss without scent smearing all over the place requires me to squeeze out half of the bottle. It has taken me three attempts to get in touch with the company. Buying it without scent would be a good idea if you can find it. Your money will be saved when you choose lavender scent.

The situation has changed a lot since it was once the same
3/5

Silver polishing with Maas used to be one of my favorite things However, I was lost when they switched over to the lavender formula. Consequently, it does not perform as well as it did in the past. It separates and is runny and sticky. In place of Maas, I now play Wenol, which reminds me of how Maas used to work.

The MAAS system works better than any other
5/5

Over the last 40 years, I have used Maas polish exclusively and we've found that nothing else comes close in removing scratches and crud on ALL metals without damaging. It has worked better than any other product I have used in the past.
Lately, my Mom passed away, and her jewelry was being passed down to us girls. Most of the jewelry hadn't been worn or polished for years, so it Then, when I used it on every piece I found the loving messages stamped inside that I didn't know were there that just looked like discoloration or buildup. Trust me, I had a breakdown when I saw the messages inside I Moreover, I saw hallmarks on what I believed to be costume jewelry but it turns out it isn't and I almost gave it to Goodwill free of charge. I highly recommend this product for polishing anything, the only thing I would be careful of are 'soft' gemstones and pearls in jewelry, and inscriptions that may make you cry.

COPPER IS IN GOOD HANDS WITH MAAS
5/5

It is the only tarnish removing polish now available that I have found that works on heavily tarnished copper. The pieces of wallpaper could have stayed exposed to smoke for many, many decades without ever seeking cleaning. You can read about everything that I have tried online, so trust The last thing I want to do is give up too The majority of them almost work (I can't mention names), and they'd likely work just The piece of copper was hand-hammered, with thousands of strike marks that were a few microns deep and would not We offer MAAS work and services. Apply it with a wipe. With a soft cloth, rub for a few seconds, and add a few drops of water to keep the stuff moist. I am amazed. In just a few moments, the copper color changed to a shiny, pink tone. You have to work a bit for it. However, they do not work even when power tools are used. In this contest, MAAS is the winner. Without a doubt. The investment is small, but it pays off in the long run.

I made some changes to the formula
3/5

Once I was out of Maas, I got my hands on the latest tube. My impression of this new product is extremely disappointed. My experience with Maas goes back years, and I noticed the last time I ordered it that it contained another formula with French lavender. I noted another reviewer mentioned that theirs was runny, and mine is white instead of light purple. It was quite the opposite for me. After trying out this product, I found it dried out, difficult to apply, and did not do the great job that I had always enjoyed with it. So I am going to look at reviews for other polishes to see what I can switch to. You don't like it when new products are improved, don't you?.

It is the best metal surface cleaner for the home and the Our church maintains its vessels through the efforts of a group who cleans them
5/5

A canister of maas is used for polish and a tube is used for maas. In this case, we selected this item over other options. There are a number of products we have used. We have access to other products such as candle wax remover and brasso that do not scratch or harm brass, silver, candles, cups and bowls. Maas cleans, rinses well and doesn't damage brass silver, candles, cups or bowls. Maas are used by some ladies, but 7 out of 10 reach for them. The price is a bit higher, but it works great for.
