The ingredients in this product make me afraid of using it on anodized metal.

A number of long-term projects are ongoing Metal polishes that barely work on stainless steel are respected. The Mothers Mag and Aluminum Polish is a thick paste that is very dry and does a good job on stainless steel. There is also this one, which is, in my opinion, more effective. It spreads and applies more easily and has a consistency similar to Additionally, it is more costly, but likely worth the investment. The wheel covers work well on a 62 year old set of wire wheel They were a little beat up when they were first discovered. In my opinion, this polish is not a substitute for professional polishing and restoration of badly neglected stainless steel. What does it do for you? A standard set of stainless tailpipes from a 2014 Volkswagen Sportwagen also worked. They are not made with stainless steel and they are not for chrome-plated systems The tips are not quite presentable, but they clean up well, and are arguably more pleasing to the eye than I have not used it on any other metals yet. A quick update It is great for those who want to keep their vintage cars detailed and maintained (such as myself). Stainless trim shines and brightens considerably after using the 3M, even pieces that seemed fine prior to using it. It is important to keep in mind that stainless steel is the only metal you should use, not something anodized or clear. Aluminum coated with a coating. Good stuff, as always.
This is a very helpful If the metal has pitting, polish it first with 000 steel wool dipped in the polish. It will remove almost all of it. Then polish again with a cloth, then buff with a A mirror is what it looks like once it's completed. In the picture, one half of an oxidized rocker moulding is shown.
The old, scuffed up and filthy Eames Management chair was sitting in my garage for a long time, so I decided to bring it inside and see what I could do to give it a little facelift. When I vacuumed and dusted the chair, I was able to see that the aluminum was in very To attempt to clean it, I found this product online and bought I was devastated to discover that some blemishes and pits could not be repaired, but I am still amazed at how much dirt and grime this product removed, and how it has made the aluminum so much cleaner!.
On our Cobalt boat, I just couldn't get the chrome to look right in a few spots. Despite trying Walmart chrome polish, it didn't seem to do anything for me. Although I struggled to clean it, even with cheap cleaner, it still was hard to do. There was a residue that was similar to a rainbow, and it was difficult However, the product and the package of microfiber cloths that I bought are both from Amazon. I noticed that it worked within the first 30 seconds of using it. A piece of chrome I had scrubbed and scrubbed looked new with just a little elbow grease after using this product. Whatever you use to wipe your hands is going to do a number on it As soon as you are finished, they will be black. However, I could do a crisp chrome polish on our entire boat (25' runabout) in about 20 minutes. Can't think of anything more I'd like.
Aim to put in the work on this product, and you will see how good it is. It was very difficult to keep my chrome Foose wheels from tarnishing. When I used heavy drilling with heavy compounding carbide then polished with finer abrasives I arrived at a nearly perfect result considering how bad the surface was. It is more than a drawback. I have previously used Maguire's and Mother's chrome polishing products and it wasn't as good as this. Good job, In my opinion, a few hand polishing pads of various cuts can be included in the price of this product, along with a detailed description of how to use them so buyers understand the process more. The negative reviews were probably written by people who did not put the work in to get it back to its former glory.
The stainless steel stair railing on my stairs was in need of cleaning and I bought this to do it. In the first place, anyone wanting to use this for stainless steel should be aware that the metal will look shinier and a bit darker than the original. In addition, not all corrosion was removed (from the tanks). From a corrosion standpoint, I am pleased with the rail, but I am not satisfied with how it changed the appearance of the stainless steel. Due to this, I would not recommend this for stainless steel, but the result may still be acceptable. It may work for other metals (I have not tested it).
For me, this is the way to go A chrome polisher can be added to the arsenal for future use.
It is similar to the Flitz product, if not a little better than it. The stainless steel rod holder on my boat which was chrome colored turned tan after a cleaning solution called ez on off hull cleaner was applied I thought it had been damaged permanently as it turned grey. Initially, I planned to buy new rod holders, but my friend convinced me to try polishing it first. A couple of dabs of this and presto, I have a brand-new rod holder again. As my rod holders just a week old and the boat is 15 years old, I did my stainless steel bars, and they look alot better, but they won't be brand new again.
