Questions & Answers

The Palmyra bristles are tough, but how will they perform with ?

In the past, I've used mine to clean black and green stains from my cement back patio slab with a diluted bleach/water mixture and have never had any issues with it.

What kind of bristles are these? Do they have a higher strength than polypropylene In order to clean rust stains from my concrete driveway, I plan to use this. ?

The sponge has been used to scrub the concrete in our basement, so it should be sturdy. There are a few bristles that fall out, however.

Do you think I could deep clean my hardwood floors with this brush?

This would not be a good brush to use on Wood floors should also not be cleaned with large amounts of water. That sounds like a good reason to refinish your floors.

A handle can be attached to a brush by attaching it to the bristles (underside)? A video shows a person using a brush to clear debris from a gutter guard standing on the What's the brush side of the brush?

There is clearance between the bristles of the brush to allow a handle to be screwed into the underside of the brush using a threaded broom handle. You should note Amazon shows a picture of the product page on which there is only one 15/16" threaded

Those goats are going to love this! As you read it, you are correct
5/5

That's right. For my goat barn, I bought these to attach to the wall To scratch the tops of their heads and rub their heads against it, it should be at head height. It's a pleasant surprise for the goats!.

The product is resistant to a wide range of chemicals
5/5

My family and I have used this for numerous purposes over the years, and I intend to keep buying it. This can be used on a variety of wood surfaces including concrete driveways, brick, and brick pavers. Even after I have thrown more than a few chemicals at it, it does not get damaged or harmed. It is very durable and has tough bristles that help to remove caked on dirt, mold, algae, and other decomposed matter. The best thing to use on hard metal surfaces is probably the wire brush unless there is caked on dirt, for instance, In any case, on metal the bristles would probably be too rigid for a good scrub. The chemicals I have used thus far are 12% chlorine bleach, muriatic acid, sulfuric acid, trisodium phosphate, and oxalic acid [same goes for time and brush]. Always rinse, and dry your brush before going from one solution to another. It is preferable if the same chemical is consistently used. - Make sure to always thoroughly rinse clean after using, even if for just a short while. I'm not sure what happens if you don't since I don't know what happens otherwise. You still have the option to use this brush, but if you do, it will continue to function. It's not that they're costly to replace, but it is nice to know you don't have to carry extras or keep them in.

Concrete patios are easy to clean with this brush
5/5

In the summer and fall, summer potted plants cause stains on the concrete back porch and front porch, and leaves fall on the front porch, thus causing the staining. I couldn't scrubbing the porches on my knees another year. Every spring, we clean the porches, but not this time. Definitely one of the best brushes out there These brushes are strong and do not damage concrete the way cheaper brushes do. It was not possible to find a better brush in my local area for a better price. In the picture, Rubbermaid Commercial FG636400LAC Lacquered-gray is paired with this drawer. The handle is made from wood, and the metal tip is threaded, and the two work In order to keep the brush from constantly unscrewing as you work, the Rubbermaid handle contains a metal tip that bites into the wood brush head. The brush is excellent Purchasing it made my knees feel better, so I am glad I did.

It was a Germanic city between 1248 and 1282 The brush has strong bristles that don't fall out easily, and it is a good value for the price
4/5

The Harper Palymyra Deck Scrubs are a similar size to what I have used in the past The problem having been locating a Harper at the right price this time, so I opted to give this one a try instead. Here on Amazon, I was able to get a Weiler for just under $5, but the Harper of similar size I could not find for less than I would recommend this brush for those who want quality brushes I wouldn't recommend it for the price since it is not on par with the Harper version, but it is good enough for the money. There are no loose bristles as with other cheaply made palmyras, and the mounted bristles do not fall out easily. The wood block is well made and sturdy, and should last at least as long as the brush. *This brush has two connectors, namely a plastic connector and a wood connector. It comes with two threaded (standard size, all my handle will fit) and a tapered one as well The size also fits the handles that I own, so I guess it is a standard size.

I used it on a very cool deck and rough concrete ground and they worked very well- I liked the stiffness of the bristles and the way they held up The bristles of the palmyra are usually weaker and they may bend / flex too much when they are scrubbed, which leads to the bristles not penetrating the grooves or rougher surfaces well. It is hard to find any bristles stiffer than the Weiler bristles. Despite the fact that the level / quality of the Harper equivalent is not quite the same, I find it to be satisfactory at half the cost. I appreciate your time reading this.

The bristles did not break
5/5

This was used for the deck on my embarrassingly filthy house, using sodium percarbonate (oxygen bleach like Oxi-clean. It's absolutely clean) and worked this thing to death. At first use, I noticed a bit of color bleeding (probably caused by the oxygen bleach). I did not lose a single bristle, but there was a slight color bleed at first. This fit well with the random handle I used, and it was easy to clean. I'm so glad I found something that exactly does what it's supposed to do, without falling apart in no time. I'll search for more of this brand in the future.

The brush is good, though it is difficult to thread on to the pole, and it is also While I had to put in a lot of elbow grease when using it and hold it at a good angle to peel up the moss, it went faster, but it took more effort
4/5

It was somewhat difficult to thread on to a pole, but not so difficult that it frustrated me. Though it was smaller than I expected, I can't blame the listings for this I must have seen the 6x18 and mistaken it for dimensions because it says it is a 10" brush. In my opinion, the non-threaded handle hole looked positioned too close to the edge of the broom, which would make it susceptible to cracks over time. Generally, nothing bad to say, this brush worked well. The price, size, and quality were not impressive to me, and it was also not effective for my specific task so it didn't receive a five-star rating, but it wasn't terrible either.

It's great to scrub with this brush
5/5

In my living room I have wooden floors that once sanded will need to be cleaned. I am looking for a brush to clean them. As a result, I had a difficult time cleaning the dirt that had As I was reading the reviews, I thought I would give the brush a try since it indicated it could be used for a boat's deck. The floor was able to be scrubbed in small sections, and I was able to remove most of the dirt. I was then able to seal the floor with a floor protector for the time being.

This is a highly recommended book- This is a high-quality brush with strong bristles
5/5

Using this brush was a great experience for me. For acid staining, I used it to prepare the concrete floor (which means the floor needed to be very, very, very clean before staining). Whether you are cleaning or cooking, this brush will get the job done. A solid wood base and stiff bristles make up this well made brush. As far as I can tell, the brush has held up fairly well (none of the bristles have fallen out). I was impressed with how well it cleaned my car and how well it cleaned the floors. However, you do need to use your own mop/broom etc handle (anything with a twist at the end) or you could use by hand. This product is of outstanding quality, is very reasonably priced, and has held up remarkably.
