My only complaint is that when you sweep trash into it, the dirt goes under the bottom as if there is a small gap, and it does not touch the floor all the way. It's possible that you'll need to sweep the same small dirt into it a few times before it's completely clean.
It's a garbage product that can't even be swept into. It has a middle bow. Your swept material will be tucked away beneath the surface. I'm tired of Amazon selling me their products and them turning out to be garbage; I'm tired of Amazon selling me their products and them turning out to be garbage. Stop private labeling your trash and sell Rubbermaid; I was a fool for falling for it.
My overall fitness has suffered as a result of the pandemic. I don't have to bend over to sweep into the dustpan because of this. My knees will rebel one of these days if I bend down. That is fixed with this dustpan. It's simple to put together and doesn't require any special tools. It's simple to use and clean.
This would be a good dustpan if the smaller particles didn't go right up under the pan and you couldn't get them up into the pan when sweeping your pile into it. There is no lip hugging the floor to create a ramp for smaller items to climb. The lip is made of thick, rounded plastic that is bowed upward to allow anything smaller to pass right through it, so you have to keep moving it back to get crumbs and dirt out. Look for one with a ramp that follows the contours of the floor.
It's simple to put together and quite substantial. When my previous dust pan broke, I tried to use one of the regular small ones, but I have a bad back and don't like bending down to pick up trash, so I ended up buying this, which I like. The only thing I don't like about it is that when I try to move it, it kind of unscrews.
It works well as a pooper scooper for dogs. I drilled some holes in it so I can leave it outside without it filling up with water or ice; it was simple to put together and appears to be sturdy, but only time will tell if it can withstand the "load. " 🤣.
It appeals to me. It's something I use on a daily basis. My house has a wood floor, or rather, a fake wood floor, and I enjoy sweeping up crumbs. I'm pregnant, so I'm sick of sweeping and then squatting to pick up trash. As a result, I was able to avoid bending over because of this item.
This dustpan does its job admirably. It was very simple to assemble. It's solid, much more so than I expected. It's a definite plus. It performs exactly as expected. I'm happy about it. If I needed another one, I would buy it again.
