They have grown smaller since the past few decades

A number of years ago, I bought them and they were about 30% smaller than now. There is definite difference in size between the present package and the one I had from last time. The little more surface area makes them more difficult to hold, and they are less effective due to lack of grip. This was much smaller than I expected. I will check out something advertised as being larger by weight next time.

It is necessary to own some of these items if you enjoy cleaning. One of these pads helped me get out some tuff stains from my bath tub. With a little spray cleared and rubbing with one of these pads, the stain disappeared. You will be amazed at how well these work!.

I'd like to use it as a Brillo pad, but it will not do

It should be noted that these are not Brillo pads and will not stay tightly bundled together. It has been years since I have purchased these and I will keep doing so. awesome, but do not expect them to be like Brillo pads.
