Seoul, Korea, is where they are made.
I'd ask the Vitamix company how to clean the plastic container the best way possible. In my kitchen, I prefer to use the scouring pad on stainless steel over plastic.
I'm not sure; I just like scrub buds, and nothing cleans metal pots and pans like they do. I've been using them for a long time. It could simply be a packaging/upgrade issue.
Hello, this is an original Amway product that comes in a variety of packaging options.

The one on the left is from 1998, to be exact. Back then, I purchased only one box. Finally, replacement parts are required. Yes, it's that great. I'm hoping they'll last as long as that. They're great for both cast iron and stainless steel pans. They're fantastic. In fact, Amway's products are fantastic in general.
My kitchen sink is no longer littered with rusted steel wool pads! My glassware will no longer be scratched to the point of deep gouging! br>br>I created a friendly competition with my husband by requiring him to use his standard scouring pad. While I used the Amway Scouring Pad to scrub some baked-on food residue off a casserole dish cover (only), I used the cleaner to scrub some baked-on food residue off a casserole dish cover. To clean the casserole dish, use a drop of dishwashing liquid. br>br>The end result was fantastic! 1) My husband thought I cheated in some way because the Amway Scouring Pad cleaned my casserole dish so well and so effortlessly! LOL, and 2) my 20-year-old son. My 2-year-old casserole dish looks exactly the same as my 2-year-old casserole dish. a 12-year-old.
They perform admirably. DO NOT USE ON ANYTHING THAT DOESN'T NEED TO BE HEALTHFUL They won't stick because the covering will be scratched off. We've been buying them for years because they last so long.
They are the most effective cleaning solution I have ever used. It doesn't scratch surfaces because it's made of coiled stainless steel. Nonetheless, it completes the task at hand. The Amway scrub buds can be used to clean pots and pans, the stove top, bathrooms, and more.
I bought them at an Amway party at my house - It's been quite some time, perhaps 5 years. So they last, and I was overjoyed to discover these when I needed to replace them. They work well on stainless steel pots and pans (my sink is stainless steel), in my opinion. Unlike a steel wool pad, it isn't thready. I would strongly suggest it.
They've come in handy for removing paint from floors and counters. Because they don't scratch surfaces, they can be used in a variety of ways. You'll be happy you purchased these.
I've been using these for a year and I'm in love with them; I've used them on my corning wear as well as my pots and pans. They do not scratch the surfaces of things unless they have changed them. They are fantastic, in my opinion.
They're the best because they're soft and stretchy. Ceramic stovetops and dishes are not scratched by them. They also last a long time and are well worth the money.
