Questions & Answers

Is the pan's edge level with the ground? My previous one did not lay flush even with a rubber edge. Do you feel like you've been smack dab in the middle of something?

No, the edge curls upward, making sweeping much into the pan nearly impossible. I threw it in the garage because I was so disappointed. I should have returned, but a family emergency kept me from doing so. I've given up looking for a good dustpan online because I want to see it before I buy it.

I'm curious as to where this was made. ?

The item has no indication of where it came from.

What are the measurements of this Edward Tools heavy duty plastic dust pan? what are the dimensions of the handle, how long is the handle, and how deep is the handle?

4" handle, 14" width (yellow strip), and 6" depth 1/2"

I'm curious about the size of this dustpan. ?

At the base, it measures 5" in diameter. For the price and for use around the house, this is a good pan.

This dustpan is right-handed and has a slant that isn't visible in the photos
3/5

Because of the slant, it is clearly right-handed. I'm not a fan of this because I'm not right-handed.

Brands of trash cans are truly unique
5/5

When it comes to keeping my house clean and tidy, I am a little OCD. Do I really want to pull out the cannister vac for a 4x4" mess? I've had dustpans that scattered crumbs and dirt over an even larger area when I was just trying to sweep a small mess onto the device, and do I really want to pull out the cannister vac for a 4x4" mess? The design of this dustpan is fantastic: It's at the ideal angle to sweep crumbs or dirt safely into the upper well without requiring an engineering degree or 30 minutes of effort, and it's both sturdy and lightweight. This is one of those small household items that, while it may not appear to be an "important" purchase at the time of purchase, quickly becomes indispensable after a few uses. A+.

a bad product Plastic that is extremely thin and flimsy! The rubber edge was peeling away and hadn't been glued in place
3/5

It's not even close to being worth half the cost.

Clean up is easier with the rubberized edge/lip
5/5

Jeff Campbell's Clean Team provided us with a dustpan many years ago. It was sturdy and, most importantly, had a rubberized edge lip that made getting all of the debris out much easier. Since the other one broke, we've been looking everywhere for a replacement. We had hoped for something similar. It's a good size, and the rubberized lip makes it easy to handle. It functions admirably. We also like how it has a slight incline, which makes it easier to get into unusual locations - Whether you're right-handed or left-handed is a personal preference.

That's a great deal, buddy! It's a great dustpan made of plastic
5/5

It's a little more substantial than the norm and not at all flimsy.

That is not the case for me
3/5

This dustpan did not appeal to me at all. I have small hands, so the handle was large and awkward for me. I didn't like the angle on the left side. This was to replace a broken rubber maid brand dustpan. Because of this, I gave it only one star. It was made of flimsy plastic that felt like felt. This is something I would never recommend.

Well-made and durable - Rubber edge is very nice
5/5

The rubber lip is a nice unexpected feature on this high-quality dust pan, and we expect it to last for a long time. There isn't much else to say about a dustpan besides that. except for the fact that it might be a little too heavy and heavy duty for kitchen use- However, it serves us well in the garage and garden.

Removes itself from the situation
3/5

It has a snap attachment that allows it to be stored on a standard broom handle. I believe I have a "standard" broom, but it simply slides down and off the counter. I was looking for one that could be stowed in the handle. It performs similarly to most dustpans in terms of functionality.
