Questions & Answers

What method did you use to clean it? Is it okay to wash by hand and then put it in the dryer?

Mine has been washed a few times. I simply toss it in the washer and tumble dry it on the lowest heat setting. It doesn't get any more straightforward than that. No fabric softener, just regular laundry detergent. I use towels to clean and dry it. I haven't had any problems with the fibers coming off the towels, and I haven't had any problems with lint from the towels in the duster. It always comes out looking brand new, and with a replacement head available for under $10, I'll keep doing it and happily replace it when it wears out. It couldn't be more user-friendly or cleaning-friendly.

What is the reason for the $11 price tag on this Prime-eligible item? When the standard price for this item elsewhere appears to be $5, it's hard to justify a price of 98. 99?

I realize this is an old question, but I felt compelled to respond. I always look to see what the "ships from and sold by Amazon" price is, and I almost always buy those because Amazon does not inflate their prices like some third-party sellers do. At the moment, there are six pieces in the set. 99 (on Amazon), which appears to be a good deal.

What's the best way to clean the scrubber head after each use?

Cleaning the head hasn't been a problem for me, and I'm not concerned about every speck of soap scum that gets left behind. I sanitize the head with a disinfectant after using something gentle that will not destroy the head "no chlorine bleach" like good old fashion vinegar and baking soda, much in the same way you would a kitchen sponge. Kitchen sponges, by the way, are germ catchers because they are used to clear dangerous pathogens and bacteria from blood, raw meat, raw eggs, moldy bread, cheese, and so on. However, soap scum and dead skin cells are the main concerns in your bathtub. We rarely cut up meat in the bathtub, so the head may become unsightly, but to cut a long story short, I don't let it bother me.

Is there a microber on the pad?

I'm not sure what the pad is made of, but it's quite rough. I used it to clean my fiberglass tub, and it did a fantastic job. I was completely oblivious to the fact that it had scratched it.

You're not prepared for what's about to happen
5/5

It's nothing more than a dustpan, after all. At least, that's how I perceived it. Nothing could have prepared me for the reality that I was about to face. Do you recall the year 1995? br>br>Do you recall the year 1995? I have a vague recollection of it. Artists, not memes, were the ones who used irony. When you said the word "grit," people immediately thought of John Wayne rather than elementary school programs. Modernity had only partially wiped us out, and the Internet was still a work in progress. We didn't have access to social media, but we still talked to each other like friends. Before we all turned into cyborgs, life was simpler, but there was also a lot of ignorance. It was similar to the time before I discovered this dustpan. br>br>However, AOL reigned supreme in 1995. The United States of America was going online, but few people understood what this meant. It was impossible to predict where it would end up. One of those world-changing events was the introduction of the Internet. It was a series of life-changing events. Similar to when I ordered this dustpan a few weeks ago. It wasn't packaged in one of those matte finish, sleek boxes that Apple products come in. br>br>When it arrived, it wasn't packaged in one of those matte finish, sleek boxes that Apple products come in. It wasn't the packaging, however, that drew my attention. It's just a dustpan with a thick paper jacket. It appeared to be similar to any other dustpan. You don't expect much when you're carrying a dustpan. It makes no difference if it's 2019 or 1975. Dustpan technology appears to have progressed very little in the last 30 years. However, I used THIS dustpan after that. br>br>You've probably spent your entire life using dustpans and never considered what is too narrow or too wide, how long or short the bristles should be, how rigid the brush stroke should be, the angle of the handle, or anything else. You rolled with whatever dustpan you could find, most likely the peasant garbage that came with your broom. OXO, on the other hand, had a completely different plan. They set out to change the dustpan for the better, and they succeeded.

Remember using a plastic or metal dustpan where all you could do was brush in about 80% of the material while the rest slid underneath and the rest br>br>Bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, by The rubber edge on this dustpan is the perfect balance of firm and flexible. It conforms to the surface and engulfs everything. br>br>As you drag your brush across the floor, the bristles are so soft and gentle that you barely notice when they touch, but an inch or two into the bend, the resistance is just right to signal that it's time to keep it steady on the pull. As a result, there are no splayed-out characters in the game. out of the bristles There won't be any springboard-style kickbacks that scatter your crumbs all over the place. I could go on and on. br>br>I could go on and on. The handle is at the perfect angle. The brush's fit in the pan has a German feel to it. br>br>This is the first and only time I've had a bad experience with it. Not once. It's a delight to use, and I don't say that lightly. Bad day? With this brush pan to finish off a cathartic cleaning session, you'll never lose your cleaning high again. br>br>I was under the impression that this was just a brush pan. This caught me off guard. It's a brush pan, to be precise. However, there is a lot more. br>br>Five. Stars. br>br>.

If your wand won't tighten, follow these steps
4/5

Okay, there were a lot of negative reviews from people who couldn't get it to lock and others who mocked those who couldn't and called them idiots. This is how it works: This wand does not click into place; instead, it tightens by rotating the top pole while keeping the lower pole steady. If you're like me and have no idea why it doesn't click, you'll find yourself rotating it in circles, trying to feel or hear where it should click and if you've done it in the wrong direction. When you finally go in the right direction, it will take a lot of twisting to get it to tighten. I finally figured it out, and I can see why so many people were frustrated and thought the system was broken. I tightened the wand by twisting it away from me while holding the top pole in my right hand and the bottom pole in my left. If you've been fiddling with it for a while trying to get it to click (which it doesn't), be aware that it may take a long time to tighten the first time, but once it does, you're good to go. Due to a lack of clear instructions, one star has been deducted.

Beware! At first, I was enamored with it
3/5

However, I used it on one bath tub and then went to use it on another a couple of weeks ago. I didn't notice it at first, but then I noticed it dripped RUSTY water from one room to the next. It had been a complete disaster! My carpet was stained, and the ceramic floors in the bathrooms were ruined. The inside of the handle had obviously rusted. I've bought and enjoyed other OXO products in the past, but not this one! This product should be refunded to me immediately.

STRONGLY RECOMMENDED! These brushes for grout are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
5/5

If you're on the fence about whether or not you need a grout brush, this is the place to be. All I'd have to do now is clean the floor. ”. Stop. Get your hands on these brushes. They're stiff and help you save a lot of time by reducing the amount of work you have to do. Furthermore, they can be applied to any surface. I used products with mine, but in the photos I took, I only used brushes. br>br>PROS: Brushes that are sturdy, easy to clean, and solid. CONS: br>br> Because of the elbow grease, your hands may "hurt" a little after use. br>br>The photos show the difference between cleaning the bathroom floor and cleaning the hallway floor. br>br>12/18/20 Update: So, I just used these to clean the tracks on my glass shower door, and they worked perfectly! I'm always coming up with new ways to put these to use!.

LOVE IT! Because I have cancer in my spine, I am in constant pain
5/5

I haven't been able to clean my bathtub for a month because I can't lean over! As a result, I felt compelled to act and decided to take a chance on this. I'm glad I took the chance! This device thoroughly cleans my bathtub, including every nook and cranny! I don't have to bend at all, either. This is such a useful tool.
