It was much better than the store brand, which I couldn't get to stay on for too long, only the "Extra strength" The Clear Passage Extra Strength version didn't work when I bought that store brand first, so I bought the "Strength" store brand instead. As I took the strip off early in the morning, I worried that my nose would fall off along with it. Then I switched to the "Sensitive Skin" version (blue box), which are still way, way stronger than the "Extra-Strength" *Strength" store brand definitely opens up my nose so I breathe more through my nose when sleeping than I did before. However, I still breathe through my mouth to some extent while sleeping. Yet, it works to reduce snoring, dry mouth, and bad breath in the morning.
It has been about 10 years since I started using Breath Right Large Tan strips. Their music is pleasant to listen to. Because I have a large nose, some strips don't stay on my nose as long as they should. 3 *br > It just cost about $1 more per box to get Breath Right strips. It fits my large nose very well with these Clear Passage strips. My nose is washed every time with soap/water or an alcohol wipe. I did that with the Clear Passage as well. There was no movement of the strip during the cause any discomfort to my skin when I took it off. Then there's the price difference between Breath Right and them. This will be my second purchase of them.
My experience with other brands is that these are far superior. My septum is slightly deviated, thus I am partially blocked on my left side. This little springy piece of magic open me up right away however. It takes a little bit of finesse to get them off since I really mean it when I say they stick. My usual morning routine involves dabbing the ends of my wig with a bit of oil or water to assist with lifting it off as quickly as possible. I love how well they work and how comfortable they are. Once it's on, you can't feel it, but you can blow your nose to hell and back. This is a highly recommended product.
As a result, they are great for opening nasal passages so you can breathe more freely. You could try these if you have tried the breathe right but found the fit too small. Although, I wish these had the butterfly cut built in as the breath right do, but they are a good alternative.
It hurts like hell to take off the strips, even though the strips work. The skin on my arms and legs has been damaged several times. A 3/4" long piece of tissue lengthwise placed between a pair of ends (to keep the adhesive from sticking to the bridge of my nose) has worked for me.
All of the nasal strips I have tried, I've found that sensitive skin, tan, large are the best for me. It's difficult for me to place plastic ones against my nose bridge because of how wide it is. These stick on nicely but have a little give, unlike the plastic ones.
As good as normal paper clips, less expensive, and less stingy when removed. Then you get another 20 for free, which is also fantastic. BR's are now my new favorite after using them for years and years.
When the skin is removed, the skin is removed. The removal process needs to be handled carefully. The rest of the program works well.
