I use chinstraps all the time, but only for one particular reason
3/5

Having been on autoPAP for over six years now, I am constantly on it. In order to wear a nasal mask, I have to use my mouth-to-nose device The chinstrap has also been worn since then to facilitate breathing. I've tried many different brands over the years, but I never seem to be able to find one more suitable than There are no issues, and it's comfortable to wear. (Or as comfortable as a chinstrap can be. It was regarded as a very durable item at one time. Over the years, the quality of the product has suffered. I was purchasing it once a year until about a year ago. I have been 16 months old. How about now? Every five years I have to replace it I hate the velcro closure that wears out too easily for the cost, and it rarely lasts as long as it should. Which means the bag is knocked from two stars for that. My massive skull needs a robust chinstrap, so if there were one that would fit my massive skull and be comfortable, I would Considering the current state of affairs, the Ruby is the best the market has to offer.

Using this strap helps ensure that your mouth stays closed while you sleep
5/5

A mouth-strap that keeps your mouth shut while sleeping is the perfect accessory! If you want to order, you should measure your head first. This was a kind of document I received from my CPAP supplier quite often. The fact that these come in different sizes, even though they're adjustable, was not mentioned to me. All the products they had on hand were sent to me. I first began looking for in-store chin straps when the store no longer carried them and no other chin strap really worked for me, so I found this one on my own. The brand and style of these are the same as the ones I've always used, but here there are different sizes to choose from. According to one of the reviews left here, I should measure my head from the center of my chin to the center of my crown in order to figure out my size, so I did that, and I'm so glad appears that I have been wearing the wrong size nearly my whole life. It says I should wear an XL here, so I would have ordered the regular size one, but since I measured, I should have ordered the regular size. My old shirt was much more comfortable but the XL is much more comfortable! When I used this past summer, I had to put tissue on the top where the adjustable part is because the Velcro caught my hair and tore it. My clothes are finally the right size now, so I don't need to worry about it. Furthermore, I am so much more comfortable with it than I am with my other chin straps, my other ones being the wrong size. Before this, not having the right size, I assumed I would have to live with it. This is not the case! This is wonderful news to me. That is a chin strap that I highly recommend. There are a lot of benefits to this headband, including its softness, comfort, non-sliding nature, and ability to hold your mouth closed without feeling like you have your head in a vise. Get one now!.

It helps to keep mouth closed when you sleep, but it is not perfect
3/5

I'm used to breathing with my mouth closed when I sleep, which is one of the most annoying things about using a CPAP. The mornings, even when I wear a full face mask and use a humidifier, my mouth feels like a sandbox. As I sleep with a full face mask, I find that it actually pushes my mouth open, so I hoped that this adjustable snoring strap would keep it closed during the night. Pros - It does help to keep the mouth closed, but it isn't perfect for me. The hat fits comfortably around my full face mask - The material has a soft texture, so it won't irritate your skin. The cons are It is not possible to attach tabs to the Velcro fasteners. It is extremely difficult to adjust them as each fits flush against the other. Putting the strap on is also a challenge due to the friction. Stretching it from the front or loosening the velcro will either help, or you can adjust it yourself by loosening the Velcro. I am* *br* It might have something to do with my head shape, but the strap does not pull straight up However, my mouth is not as often open as it used to be. The conclusion is You can return it if it doesn't work and you can return it if it doesn't work for you. I can't seem to get along with it.

It is no longer the country of origin
3/5

Since I used my CPAP mask for 15 years, this type of chinstrap has been indispensable to me. In this case, the length of the contract was only four During the latest washing, the Velcro tab separated from the neoprene "fabric" to which it's attached (was). This new chinstrap is a replacement for my old CareFusion Ruby chinstrap, which All orders are exactly the same, except that they changed the way in which they identify the sizes. The one I was sent by the U. S. Postal Service in June 2016 was bulkier and involved thicker Neoprene. There were no other differences (until the packaging came apart) except for the label reading "Made in Dominican Republic" and a $2 reduction in price. This one was labeled "Made in USA" and was purchased on March 12, 2014. Your conclusion is up to you. To be honest, I'd rather pay the $2 more to be able to get the better deal. Rather than getting one that lasts 4 months, save 65 and get one that lasts 2 years.

For those of you who are big, go for It appears to be working so far In case of. In case
Keep it dry by keeping it out of the sun If you don't toss a lot in your sleep, you'll be fine
If you shave your chin (wife is upset) -no hair in the way (I have shoulder-length hair)-no, you don't fret about your hair Wearing this does not bother you if your family members laugh at you. Once I washed my face and did not dry it completely and it looked funny. I also noticed that you tend to sweat a bit more when wearing it, so wash it often. After a night of drinking, I found out it comes lose when you try to wear it while tipsy or tossy. During sleep, I had to move my low pony tail to a middle pony tail due to interference with my Yeah, I agree. During a morning morning routine, my wife and sister laughed when I forgot to take it off. The materials are pretty high-quality and the craftsmanship is excellent. The designer and manufacturer deserve a pat on the back.

Apparently, I was wearing it incorrectly, but it was comfortable once I figured it out
3/5

As it turns out, I had worn it the wrong way It may have been uncomfortable for others because of this factor. As soon as I figured it out (there were no instructions), I found it very comfortable and very useful for keeping my mouth closed at The biggest issue I have with the strap is that the main Velcro fastener is glued on the body. I was unable to use the glue for a few weeks. It seems to me that a stitched row would solve the issue, and I fail to understand why the manufacturer would not consider it. So far, I am holding mine together with safety pins until I find a new one. I am considering buying this product again (because it is comfortable) even though I suspect it will eventually fall apart as well.
