When I contacted Nature Made, they were disappointed because the pills were not vegetarian. Because they are coated, some of the outer layer may be shed during shipping. However, there should be no effect on dosing or efficacy. I believe there is a flaw in the pill design; the top and bottom edges have a small extra "lip" that chips off from time to time, adding to the residue/powder inside the bottle.

Over the last few years, I've switched from this melatonin to other brands (whichever was the cheapest at CVS). After that, I discovered labdoor. I switched back because this one was rated as the best melatonin in terms of quality, purity, and effectiveness on com, so I think I'm falling asleep easier/faster now. Knowing that this brand was tested by an independent lab and found to be pure makes me feel better.
I learned about melatonin therapy after doing some research. I needed 3 mg tablets (half a tab twice a day) and knew I needed a brand without fillers. It's been an amazing experience. For the past ten weeks, she has been taking melatonin. Fur is being delivered in large quantities. Her new fur is soft and luxurious, and she is no longer naked! She will continue to take it for the next three months.
Please wait, please wait, please wait, please wait, please wait, please wait, please wait, please wait br>br>As far as I know, I am in good health. I awoke from a dream in which I had taken a detour to use the restroom. EVER SINCE I WAS A CHILD, I HAVE NEVER PISSED MYSELF DUE TO A DREAM. Around 12 a. m. , I fell asleep. 30 a. m. (a little early for me), I drank a glass of water [I do this so that I can wake up early when my body needs to go to the bathroom (I always do this, and it always works)], and I awoke at 6:15 a. m. I'm at 25 a. m. , and I've got piss in my pants! Thankfully, I did not wet the bed, but it was extremely strange, and I would not recommend taking the full 3mg. I gave it four stars because I was able to fall asleep a little earlier than usual, I had some dreams that I remembered even after the piss, and I was definitely drowsy when I awoke, but I am wide awake as I write this (ten minutes later).
Because I'd never taken Melatonin before, I went with 3mg. I need two of these to fall asleep. I take them about an hour and a half before bedtime, and they are very effective for me. I don't wake up in the middle of the night, and I don't feel sleepy in the morning. If I try to stay up late because I'm involved in some activity, I become extremely irritable and must retire to bed. I don't take them every night; instead, I use them as needed. They don't bother me because my stomach is extremely sensitive. So far, no negative effects have been observed.
I have "Delayed Sleep Pattern Syndrome," which means I can't fall asleep until 5 a. m. on most days. 8 am! I had no idea there was a syndrome called Melatonin Delay until I read about it on another website. Melatonin Delay is caused by a delay in melatonin release. My younger sibling- This is a problem in law, as well. I'm desperate to get back into a regular sleeping pattern. It hasn't been easy to get into a morning routine. As a result, I decided to give Melatonin a shot. People should begin with a low dose of melatonin, according to what I've read. My husband takes it, but only in doses of 10 mg. So I started taking melatonin (whenever I remember, which is usually in the middle of the night!). I believe it is assisting in some way, but I am not certain. If it begins to work and I am aware of it, I will post an update. Another thing I learned from the website I visited (which wasn't Amazon) is that taking melatonin every day for an extended period of time CAN CAUSE FRACTURES. I just wanted to make sure that everyone was aware of the situation. I'm sure it's not a common symptom, but it's something to be aware of.
NatureMade is a far superior product. A few months ago, I found a good deal on another brand of melatonin and assumed they were all the same. I noticed that I was having more difficulty sleeping on the other stuff, but I didn't think much of it at the time. I used to bite the 3mg NatureMades in half and tried that with the other brand, but I was still restless, so I switched to full pills. br>br>I recently returned to NatureMade, and HOLY COW, is this stuff better! I've reduced my dosage to half a pill (1. Each night, I take 5mg and fall asleep quickly and sleep soundly! There will never be another switch.
Because my favorite melatonin manufacturer, Schiiff, has apparently gone out of business or stopped producing the product, I decided to try this brand, which was absolutely the best melatonin on the market at the time. This "Nature's Made" item is a complete waste of money. I'd swear it was a fake placebo if I hadn't purchased the instant product and hadn't seen the label on the bottle. I'll buy a case of Schiff if it ever comes back on the market because it doesn't have any of the melatonin effects that this product is supposed to have. Make sure you don't throw your money away.
I gave five stars at first because everything arrived in good order, and I assumed these melatonin pills would be the same as any other I'd purchased before. I've tried them in a variety of dosages, up to 9 mg, and I still can't sleep. I have insomnia and usually melatonin helps me get a couple of hours, but not with this brand. br>It's not just me; I gave two of them to my mother, who doesn't have insomnia, and she didn't notice any difference from a normal night. My younger siblings didn't seem to be affected in the least. br>Because I've never had this problem with melatonin, I'm guessing the tablet isn't well absorbed into our bodies or the pill isn't the advertised strength.
