As my massage therapist always reminds me to ice it after getting a bad back, I do so. As soon as I had my appointment I did this every day. The same product was used after the massage as well. My opinion is that it stays cold for a longer period of time than 20 minutes, which I am fine with. It is also not easy for me to get hot. I am using this ice pack for my lower back and back of my hips. It is quite large.

My back pain has been reduced with this product. It works wonderfully. It has a waist band that can be securing. The ice pack stays in place as I move about My weight is 270 pounds and the band fits well around my waist. I like that it has a softer side that won't cause freezer burn. From the freezer, this item is ready to use.

The functionality of the site is why I took off two stars. However, the strap is not as great as the rest of the package. As for me, I am using the ice pack to relieve lower back pain, and because I have to spin to the other side to try to lace the strap on the other side, it is a painful experience. There are a number of ways I could help myself, but that is not the issue. I think that the strap should be attached to both sides, and the user should be able to connect with velcro in front so that they don't have to reach and twist. Having more stretch to the strap or making it longer would also be nice. There is a large ice pack of high quality in the product, as it is the perfect size. I did not experience sweating and dripping like I did with my other ice packs. It is a nice product, but the straps are a little uncomfortable.

The velcro at either end keeps it in place as I continue to walk. It fits over my lower back or around my knee and is large enough to cover my lower back and knee equally. We would definitely buy from them again and recommend them.

It is a gel pack for my back that I bought. The program I use has only been used a few times, but I have been satisfied with it When frozen, the gel is still pliable even though there is a generous amount in each section. The plush side is on the inside, while the plastic side is outside. Using the plush side is great as I don't need to wrap it upon opening because it's already wrapped in a towel before I use it. This size fit my requirements exactly. In my case, since I am 5'3", the pack is long enough to cover my spine from shoulder blades to lower back, or from hip to hip, depending on the way I wear it. One thing I would like to be able to do is remove the strap entirely since I rarely use it, and it would make it easier to put the gel pack into the protective bag to freeze. It was easier to use a 2 1/2 gallon Ziplock bag instead of the one that came with the kit.

It's the most comfortable I've ever used! The dual sided pack means that you can have less direct contact with the cold but have direct contact with both sides. Does a good job of covering. Exactly what I was looking for!.
