Questions & Answers

Is this a temporary relief or will it help with sinus and congestion problems?

This is just a quick fix. Spray each nostril with two or three sprays. Do not take more than one dose every 10 to 12 hours, and do not take more than two doses in a 24-hour period.br>The Vicks Team

Hello, how does this compare to their product, Vicks Sinex Moisturizing Nasal and Sinus Spray, Ultra Fine Mist, 0. 5 fl oz?

To be honest, I've tried both and like this one better. I believe it is a little more powerful. For the past 20 years, I've had sinus congestion, and this is the only nasal spray that helps me when I'm really congested. I had sinus surgery a few years ago and truly believed it would fix my problem; it worked for about a year but didn't last much longer, so it's time to invest in Sinex.

What does this have in common with Flonase?

Flonase is an anabolic steroid that takes three days to kick in. Flonase helped me kick a full-fledged nasal spray habit two years ago. I used both the nasal spray and the Flonase until the nasal spray was no longer needed, which took about eight days. If you or someone you know is addicted to something, try what I just said. As the Flonase kicks in, you'll notice that you need less and less nasal spray, but as you taper off of this highly addictive drug, you'll have to make a conscious effort to stop using nasal spray as much on each nostril dose. It's a physical as well as a mental problem.

My two-pack arrived today in sealed boxes, but there was no plastic safety seal on the caps or bottles - Is this something that happens frequently?

I believe I asked the same question about the lack of an inner bottle plastic seal last year, because I recall doing a rather dangerous ballet trying to get a shrink wrap thing off the Vicks brand, the one with the pump type sprayer (rather than the old school squeeze-type sprayer). spray). I was desperate for relief late at night, so I said a small prayer and used it anyway, with no negative side effects. br>br>Most personal product boxes state how the product is packaged inside *on the box*, such as "Carton glued shut for your protection; Plastic with the [Brand Name] logo shrink wrapped around the inside of the bottle. If the protective wrap is missing, do not use the product. "I haven't seen that language on the packaging of this product." There Should Be A Law! br>br>There Should Be A Law! Protective packaging should be described ON THE CARTON for every OTC drugstore product. Because you KNOW that when it comes to restocking returns, store clerks will say, "It's still good." " And then it's back on the shelf!" ALL drugstore returns should be returned to the vendor to see if they can be resold.

WARNING: THIS PRODUCT INCREASES BLOOD PRESSURE
3/5

For several months, I have been battling high blood pressure. This was ordered after I got a virus or something. I've always trusted Vick's products, but this is a different medication that should come with stronger warnings about its ability to raise blood pressure, as mine did. I had to take Clonidine three times yesterday, so I thought about what I had done differently that day. Vick's Sinex Nose Spray was the only variable, so I stopped using it and researched it further. Late last night, I was able to lower my blood pressure, but buying this stuff was a complete waste of money.

Fast and excellent

DO NOT BUY THE PLASTIC VERSION OF THE GLASS BOTTLE. It works instantly, and my swollen sinuses are wide open in about 10 minutes. I've had allergic rhinitis my whole life, and this is by far the best product I've tried (and I've tried everything). Make sure you get the GLASS bottle version and not the PLASTIC bottle version, because there is a significant difference in efficacy, according to other reviewers. Take a one-minute break to think about it. to two- This is one of the best OTC pharmaceuticals I've ever used, but you must take a day break every couple of weeks or the effect will fade, as with many drugs.

It's possible that this will result in bleeding

Instead, try their Moisterizing one. After using the moisturizing formula for a while, I decided to try this (and bought a six-pack). br>br>This is fantastic. During a congested period, I was purging small amounts of blood even just twice a day. Membranes are severely harmed. I also never get nosebleeds. br>br>I'm switching back to Moisturizing Sinex.

IN THE APPLICATOR FOR SINEX SEVERE IN GLASS BOTTLE SINEX SEVERE has completely changed my life
5/5

I have allergies, constant nasal congestion, and a deviated septum, and if I use other products, I have to get up several times a night to blow my nose. I've tried everything: Afrin, Mucinex, Flonase, Zicam, a slew of off-brands, CVS and Walgreens generics, and even some Scandinavian products. Nothing compares to the effectiveness of SINEX SEVERE in a glass bottle. I can get two weeks out of one bottle. br>br>The SINEX SEVERE in the glass bottle applicator consistently delivers the perfect amount of spray, whereas the SINEX SEVERE in the squeeze plastic bottle doesn't work as well for me. The mist is too fine, and I have to use several blasts to achieve the same effect; the glass bottle allows for two blasts per nostril, and I can use it for up to six hours. I slept for 7 hours. br>br>I dread the day when Sinex decides that glass is more expensive than the plastic bottle and discontinues this product. Furthermore, the glass bottle allows you to see the level of solution in order to determine when it is time to re-hydrate. order. br>br>I keep three backups at all times. I have one bottle in the fridge, one on my nightstand, and one in the glove box of my car.

In a bottle, there's dynamite
5/5

This is a very powerful tool, and I only use it when I need to shatter rock and sludge unlike anything you'd find in a rock quarry or an oil derrick. br>It doesn't burn, but the flavor isn't great, and if it gets stuck on the back of your tongue, you might get a rib-splitting cough. br>It continues to work for me for the majority of the day. I do it again at night for a free nose breathing event that leaves me ready to go and ready for another blast; I don't use more than what's on the label, and it can take a while to get going.

THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT THAT WORKS
5/5

This product arrived today, and I've already put it to use, and it's fantastic. I can't tell you how many different products I've tried that have failed miserably. But this one worked almost immediately, and I can breathe through my nose again tonight, just like I used to be able to. Sinex, thank you so much. P/G and Haba Hub are two of the most well-known brands in the world. Overall, 5 stars, and if you haven't found a product to help you breathe properly, give this one a try and enjoy the fresh air.

DO NOT USE IF YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE IS HIGH
3/5

After getting over the flu, I decided to buy this. I reasoned that it would aid my breathing. Although it did open my sinuses, I continued to feel worse as a result of it. I checked my blood pressure and it's extremely high! To bring it back down, I had to take more meds. I did some research online and discovered that others had experienced the same issue. This is something I never expected a nasal spray to achieve. We've been using Vicks for over 40 years and are very disappointed. This item should be taken off the market! It's a waste of money to throw money away like this.
