THIS PRODUCT IS THE ONLY THING THAT HAS HELPED ME WITH MY ALLERGIES AT THE MOMENT. I developed an allergy to my dog two years after I adopted him. I have severe stuffiness and can't breathe most of the time, regardless of what I do. And prior to using this product, I had tried every over-the-counter allergy medication available, from Allegra to Zyrtec; Claritin and Benadryl- D, Flonase, and other nasal sprays, as well as humidifiers and saline nasal sprays. Nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing I still have my dog and suffer from allergies every day, and despite the fact that this nasal spray recommends stopping use after a few days, it's the only thing that helps me. Of course, there are days when it doesn't help as much, but I have to give it about 30 minutes plus a few extra sprays to get it to work and allow me to breathe again. Until I can find an allergist who will prescribe injections for me; which is also not guaranteed; I'll keep using this product because it's been beneficial to me. Keep in mind, however, that what works for one person may not work for another. Several people have told me that Flonase or Allegra worked wonders for them, but it didn't work for me, even after waiting a few minutes to see if it would. You'll have to give it a shot if you want to know if it'll work for you. Also, this product comes in a cheaper bottle (Nasal spray) with the same exact ingredients, but for some reason, the only way this works for me is with the elongated tip (Ultra Fine Mist); the other bottles, as well as their pills, don't seem to have the same effect on me. Finally, I'm doing my shopping on Amazon because it's less expensive. I used to buy from Walmart because it was so much cheaper (by about $4-$5). In comparison to CVS, Walgreens, or your local grocery store, this item costs $5. However, on occasion, my trips to Walmart were solely for the purpose of purchasing this, only to discover that they were out of stock. I was relieved to discover that I could buy it on Amazon for a much lower cost.
I'm so glad I discovered this product because I suffer from chronic sinusitis and have tried a variety of sinus sprays. This Vicks Sinus Severe is by far the most effective I've ever used. I wasn't keen on the smell at first, but it served its purpose so well that I quickly forgot about it. This product comes highly recommended by me to anyone who suffers from allergies, sinusitis, or other sinus problems.
It reminds me of Afrin. It clears my nasal passages in a matter of seconds with a few quick puffs. However, I have noticed that it does not last as long as Afrin. For me, Afrin gives me about 10 hours of clear breathing, whereas this only gives me about 4 hours. Regardless, it does the job, so don't overdo it unless you want to cause rebound congestion.
This is my go-to product because I almost always have a sinus infection or severe allergies, and I swear by it. It's a lifesaver because it doesn't leave a gross aftertaste in your nose and works all day! I'd strongly suggest it to anyone, and I never run out of it.
Happy. I've been using these products for a while and was hesitant to try this brand out at first, but after a few days of use, I'm completely satisfied with my purchase. It takes a few minutes to work, but I'm clean and dry in no time. I'll be ordering more in the near future. The best part is the additional scent, which adds to the overall enjoyment of your noise.
I buy four at a time whenever I'm sick, and believe me when I say it works. It immediately clears my nose, allowing me to breathe freely again! I've tried a few other sprays, but they don't seem to work for me. This one, however, does. I would strongly advise!.
Everything is back to normal now.
