Yes. , I use about 2 capfuls in a regular neti pot saline solution, and it works like a charm. I don't like it undiluted.
I'm not sure what you mean when you say "make a large batch," SJ. Each morning, I fill my nasal rinse bottle (which is far superior to a Nettie pot) to the brim, microwave it for 35 seconds, add one packet of nasal rinse solution (I don't make my own), and top it off with Alkolol. I've discovered that leaving the Alkolol out at room temperature causes it to cool down slightly, so I microwaved it for 35 seconds earlier. I've discovered that if I fill it too high, it will overflow and be wasteful when I put the lid on. In the winter, I find Alkolol to be very soothing to a very dry and irritated nasal and sinus cavity lining. My ear, nose, and throat specialist recommended Alkolol, and I'm glad he did. I don't think mixing ahead of time and using later is a good idea. It would, in my opinion, dilute the Alkolol's mentholated value. Also, because you don't want bacteria to grow, it's best to use it right away after mixing it. To make things easier, mix up the packets and place them wherever you want. Target is where I buy mine. To prevent bacteria growth, I also rinse and cover my bottle after each use, then dry it upside down on a cloth. I hope this has answered your query.
Hydrogen Peroxide is probably the most convenient method; I personally use Chlorine Dioxide drops to sterilize just about everything of this nature (netti pots, mouth guards, fruits and vegetables, etc.) (except metal items). LTS, be very cautious about what you clean with, as it may end up in your body. Plasticizers (released from microwaving) or alcohol (often used as preservatives) could end up in the body.
Yes, it does; it is embossed on the flap of the kit version's boxes, as well as on the label of all bottles. It's difficult to read, but there's also a month and year. The three boxes I purchased from Amazon last year in November 2016 have a June 2019 expiration date.

This product did not have the same smell or function as the previous one. This is not the genuine article; I previously purchased several bottles from CVS, and their product easily cleared my sinuses of mucus. This product did not have the same smell or perform as well as the others. I bought a second bottle from CVS to compare the two - The labels are noticeably different, but the result is the same. The three bottles, in my opinion, are all counterfeit. I compared labels on the manufacturer's website as well - There are no new labels.
I've been using a neti pot for quite some time. I'd always combined my salt with an expensive essential oil supplement, but a three-week cold prompted me to seek out something new. I'm so glad I found this product; it makes my sinuses feel so much better. And, to be honest, it was more productive than anything I'd ever used before. Burning was mentioned by a few reviewers, but I didn't have that problem. I began slowly and now use far too much. Who knows, perhaps my sinuses have died. I put it to three different purposes. When I was sick, I did it 5 times a day, and it was extremely beneficial. The product is fantastic.
I'm glad I did it now, though. I'm not sure why some reviewers complained that it burned their nose so badly. For the majority of my life, I've suffered from severe chronic sinusitis and severe allergies. I've had a lot of sinus infections in the past few years. I've had sinus surgery, shots, and so on, and it was getting to the point where I'd be lucky if I didn't get a new infection in the next couple of weeks. Many antibiotics were no longer effective! Despite how much I disliked doing it after sinus surgery, I finally started using salt rinses. I hoped I wouldn't have to do that for the rest of my life. A few months. I decided to give this solution a shot about a year ago. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by how much it aids! Since I began using this, I have not had a sinus infection. It's something I use twice a day, once when I wake up and once when I go to bed. before I retire for the night I've used it a few more times since then. I just add it to the saline solution. I've never had the burning sensation mentioned by some reviewers. I no longer measure it and simply add a small amount to the saline solution. I occasionally add a little more if I feel I need it (I still don't measure). If you have allergies, you should consult a doctor. I believe you would benefit from using this if you have sinusitis. It does give you a fresh feeling in your nasal passages. Helps a great deal. I don't think you'll get burned if you mix it with a saline solution unless you use a lot of it. I'm a firm believer in this product. I'm going to keep it on hand in the future. It is an excellent sinus product.
Since the beginning of 2014, I've had three sinus surgeries. The doctors involved in all three surgeries emphasized the importance of keeping the nasal passage clean and sterile. They suggest using saline solutions and using a neti pot. The first time I used this product, I was completely blown away. It was a fantastic experience of cleansing. This is a brand-new product for me, and I'm crossing my fingers that it works. It's used in place of salt packets and in conjunction with a neti pot. Since I have a deviated septum and severe nasal allergies (which frequently result in upper respiratory infections), I've tried almost everything in the hopes of finding some sort of relief. One of my favorite products is Alkalol. In an eight ounce capacity NeilMed Sinus Rinse bottle, I like to combine one or two ounces of Alkalol with one packet of NeilMed Sinus Rinse (or SinuCleanse, which is significantly less expensive) and fill the bottle with warm, purified water up to the eight ounce line. This mixture is excellent for sinus irrigation (dissolving mucus, flushing it out of the nasal passages, relieving congestion without side effects, and so on). [I typically follow up with two sprays of Seagate Olive Leaf Homeopathic Nasal Spray in each nostril and one spray of Fluticasone Propionate (generic Flonase) in each nostril after allowing about ten minutes for normal drainage from sinus washing.
