The only complaint I have is that it will turn off due to sweat, but I read in other reviews that you can cover it with a sheet to prevent this, so I will give it a try. My daughter was afraid of the alarm at first, so she would try to unplug it after I tucked her in or push the pad out from under herself. Later that night, before going to bed, I began checking on her and threatened her with grounding if she didn't stop- As a result, the action came to an end. The alarm hasn't woken her up on a few occasions, but it wasn't the product's fault because I heard the alarm loud enough to wake me up from across the house. I suggest getting the two-pad set so you can change them out in the middle of the night. I also recommend that your child sleeps with only underwear or no underwear on so that the wetness triggers the pad faster. It's been about two weeks, and we've been completely dry for five days. Pay attention to the directions! As soon as the alarm went off, I would tell my daughter to press the stop button and go straight to the bathroom to empty her bladder. I'd walk into her room as she was finishing up in the bathroom, change out the pad, and be back in bed in no time; it works if you're persistent. Since we started using this, I've heard my daughter get out of bed in the middle of the night to use the restroom, so I know she's looking forward to the alarm. We'll still wait the full 30 days for it to dry before ceasing to use it, as instructed. I've read in other reviews that you can contact their customer service, and that they're great about replacing faulty pads/alarms/wires, so you're not alone if something goes wrong after you buy it. I wish I had known about this product a long time ago!.
The pad is quite large. The alarm is extremely loud. For my son's bedwetting, this is an excellent product.
I would not give this product any stars if I could, but I had to pick one. This is a complete joke! It was purchased for my son, and it activates whenever he moves in his bed; however, it does not activate when it is wet. It irritates me to no end! I'm so disappointed in this and the extra mat because I spent so much money on something that didn't work! I'd never recommend it to a friend, and I'm not going to buy it again! It's all junk!.
The alarm is now going off nonstop. I tried changing the batteries, but I believe the problem is with the sensor. The pads are still in use.
This product is simple to set up and performs exactly as it claims. This item was purchased for my son, who is a heavy sleeper who frequently wets the bed. So far, on the medium setting, it has woken me up (I'm in a room close by) so that I can make sure my son goes to the bathroom and change the sheets. It's hoped that it'll assist him in waking up on his own.
My 8-year-old was ecstatic at the prospect of this possibly resolving her issue. At 11 p. m. , it went off, and I rushed her to the bathroom, where she was completely dry by 1 a. m. Same thing at 30 a. m. ! My husband was so annoyed that he simply told me to unplug it.
We purchased this item, and it performed admirably for the first week. When the pad was completely dry, the alarm went off all of a sudden. They quickly replaced the pad, but this did not solve the problem. The product was eventually returned to Amazon, and I received a refund.
