How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

It's efficient, safe, and simple to apply. Instead of being attached to the child, the receiver can be placed on a bedside table. Ordinary wearable alarms have a long wire that runs from the top of the pyjamas to the underpants.
A new and improved toggle clamp ensures that the sensor is securely attached to the underpants. The reliable sensor detects the first drops of urine and notifies the child if he or she is bedwetting.
6 sounds to suit the user's preferences and prevent the user from becoming accustomed to a specific sound. You have the option of playing a single sound or all six sounds at once.
To meet a variety of needs, there are four levels of digital volume control.
Sound-only, vibration-only, and sound-plus-vibration are the three operating modes.

Questions & Answers

After she had wet the bed, the alarm didn't go off. How can we make it so that it only goes off when she pees?

You must ensure that the sensor is placed where she will pee. To ensure that it works, I always test it with a damp towel or wipe. Make sure they're on the same channel as well.

Is this something that will work for a bowl movement?

I don't believe so; the sensor detects moisture on the surface of the water.

What are the dimensions of the transmitter (the part that connects to the underwear waistband) and is it comfortable?

It measures approximately 2 1/4" square by 1/2" deep. Your child's sleeping habits will determine the level of comfort. However, you should be able to find a location that isn't too distracting for them.

I strongly advise you to read this book
5/5

This was something I was unsure of. My daughter wore pull-ups until she was five years old, and they were always wet when she woke up. The doctor always said that children grow out of nighttime wetting at different rates and that there was no need to be concerned. I had no objections to her sleeping in pull-ups, and I would have let her do so for as long as she needed. It wasn't so much how I felt about them as it was how I felt about them. It was my daughter's reaction to them. We thought, "OK, this is it! She's done with pull-ups!" when she decided one day that she was done with them. She has everything she requires. ” Nope. She wasn't prepared for what was about to happen to her. Her mind was, but she didn't have a physical body. She simply did not wake up when it was time for her to go. Her body simply wasn't ready, and it wasn't her fault. I looked for this product because I was constantly washing bedding and stuffed animals because I didn't have a pull up. AT ALL TIMES I needed something to assist her in waking up when she needed to use the restroom. That, and a lot more, was accomplished by this alarm. br>br>It was a difficult first week. The alarm is loud (alarm clock-like), and she was startled when it went off in the middle of the night. We'd all get up, she'd finish using the bathroom potty, we'd clean her up, and we'd change her pajamas and bedding. After that, everyone retires to their respective beds. We noticed that the alarm always seemed to go off at the same time every night. . . anywhere from 3 a. m. to 3 a. m. 5am. She just couldn't seem to get out of bed in the morning. This was very useful information to have. We always made sure she went potty before going to bed, but now we've started waking her up to go potty again before going to bed. Then something started to happen. The alarm was going off less frequently, but when it did, she would jump out of bed and dash to the bathroom before the bed was flooded. Although her underwear had a small wet spot, her pajamas and bedding were completely dry. This was a HUGE step in the right direction! We stopped waking her up for a second potty break before we went to bed after a few more weeks because we noticed she was getting herself up early in the morning to go to the potty and the alarm hadn't gone off in a while. The alarm hadn't sounded in weeks before we realized it. As a result, we simply stopped using it because there was no big scene. We didn't make a big deal about it; we simply "forgot" to put it on her before going to bed. We're now a few months later, and she's sleeping through the night without having any accidents! This alarm was very effective for us. br>br> It only took a few weeks for my daughter to stop wetting the bed, and after only a few months, she was completely dry. The price of this alarm is well worth it.

I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so for
5/5

I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so for this one. This was ordered by my nine-year-old son. We were all skeptical at first, but two months later, he is completely dry every night and gets up on his own to use the restroom. He used to be drenched in the mornings. We'd tried everything--limiting fluids, waking him up to go to the bathroom--but nothing seemed to work. Nothing appeared to be effective. He is so pleased with himself that he is now completely dry in the mornings. br>br>Here are a few things we discovered to be crucial to his success. We put him in our room on a blow-up mattress for the first two weeks. He was in desperate need of our assistance in getting up and learning what he needed to know at first. We had to guide him several times because he was barely awake. During the first few weeks, keep extra underwear and pajamas on hand so he can quickly change and return to bed. We had a lot of practice turning on and off the alarm while he was awake, and we made him change it on his own when the alarm went off (we would guide him because he was often half asleep). I won't lie, the first few weeks were difficult, and waking up to the alarm was jarring for everyone, but if you stick with it, it will pay off.

IT ACTUALLY DOES WORK
5/5

This method was successful! My son had a habit of wetting the bed in the middle of the night. Because of his nightly accidents, he had low self-esteem. We tried prescriptions, other alarm systems, and waking him up ourselves--but none of these methods worked. Nothing appeared to be effective. He was 12 years old at the time, and he despised himself for wetting the bed. He was afraid of sleepovers, and when we went on vacations, he slept on an air mattress to avoid wetting the hotel bed. Anyway- After reading the reviews, I decided to buy this product, and for the next two weeks, my son slept in my bed with me. The first couple of nights were difficult, but on the third night, he awoke and left. He went from having wet nights to having dry nights in just two weeks. He's had a couple of minor mishaps in the last three months, but that's about it. To keep his mind in check, he usually wears the alarm the next night. We are extremely grateful for this product; it has saved our lives. My son, as well as myself, are much more content. Please don't give up! It's a good thing we didn't.

WORTH IT! I looked through the market for a bed wetting alarm that met my requirements: 1) It could wake a deep sleeper, 2) It was wireless (the receiver wasn't attached to the child, so it couldn't be turned off without getting out of bed, and there were no wires to get caught up in during sleep), and 3) it was affordable (it didn't cost an arm and a leg)
5/5

When I first saw this one, I was a little skeptical because it had no reviews, but it met my criteria, so I gave it a try. I bought it, along with a couple of bed pads, and gave it to my son, but it sat on a shelf for months. I wanted my son to be prepared so that he could make an informed decision. We jumped when he finally announced that he was ready. I'm sure response times and success rates differ, but after six weeks, we saw a shift from daily issues to only occasional ones! This was a child who had been wearing nighttime underwear for quite some time! We're still having issues with pulling the device back out, but those are unique to our son. We're very pleased with this alarm in general! br>br>In a Nutshell: br>br> CLIP STAYS PUT (tough to clip and unclip to underwear, but doesn't come off easily once it's on), LOUD (need to keep doors open or have monitor if not close to child's room, but very loud), VIRTUALLY WIRELESS (receiver plugs into wall, child has to get up to turn it off), CLIP STAYS PUT (tough to clip and unclip to underwear, but doesn't come off easily Our deep sleeper still needed to be awoken from time to time), AFFORDABLE (it's not the cheapest alarm, but it's wireless and far less expensive than paying over $100).
