This is the second time we've sounded the alarm. We wore out the first one after five years of use. It's still functional, but the clip that holds it to the shirt has broken. For the past two years, I've been using duct tape on a t-shirt and have recently purchased a new one. I really like the new clasp design on this one; it should last a lot longer. Our son sleeps like a baby. This instills in him a strong sense of nighttime awareness. He is now eight years old and will go months without having an accident, once for six months in a row, but then he appears to hit a growth spurt and it all begins again. He's been completely dry for weeks again since putting this back on one night.
It's easy to put together and it works. Even if it is muffled by pillows or toys, it is loud enough to wake my son up at night to go pee. Cleaning is a breeze. The alarm is so precise that it can be set off with just one drop. This has been extremely beneficial in our potty training at night.
