On Amazon, both of the models are $99 but the $119 model appears to be the same. There is also an app for the less expensive model that says it has been updated for 2013. Would you say that the additional tones are ?

Having the extra tones in the model we selected was because we did not want to get used to hearing the same tone and want our child to wake up as soon as she became used to It was our idea to use different tones so that she would get up and wake up more comfortably. It worked well, I can tell you that. It took two weeks of this for her not to wet the bed anymore. She had tried learning how to wake herself for years before.

Do you have the ability to turn off the light? Do you have the option to adjust the alarm volume?

I didn't have a light in mine. According to what I've seen, this is a brand-new feature for the new models. There is an alarm volume and a vibrating strength that can be adjusted. My two sons were proficient in the use of night time potty training within a week of using it. I cannot describe how unbelievable it was!

The quality of the video is good, but not great
3/5

My 9 year old still wets the bed so I bought this for her. There is no manual, so I put it to use myself. The alarm is quite loud, so it even woke my dead-end spouse. Here's the deal A kid around the world. Despite the fact that it's too loud, it scares the bejesus out of me and everyone else in the Being lethargic, disoriented, and terrified for the most part, my kid had trouble turning the light off when he woke up that way in the middle of the night. As he sat in bed, he tried to turn it off rather than getting up and going to the bathroom. However, since we've been using it for six weeks, we've given it some serious consideration. Over the past four weeks, the frequency of wetting the bed has dropped by nearly half, from nearly every night to once a week The amount of time he has been gone has decreased over the past five days. There is one issue I have with it, which is that it has taught him to "hold" the pee all night (a YIPPEE), but not to wake himself up before going (a bummer), therefore we still have accidents every now and then. There is a statement in the article that it can take several months for the soil to become fully soaked- It is free, but I do not get any sense that this device gives kids (and their brains) the ability to recognize while sleeping, in order to predict accidents before they occur.

When exposed to liquid, the device will fail
3/5

A waterproof seal is not available for the unit. I was able to get the part that clips to the underwear wet, but the part that clips to the pillow or shirt and makes noise didn't work. There is only one purpose for this thing to indicate moisture. The unit encountered urine and stopped working after two weeks, which was disappointing to see after we had seen progress with our child. Getting frustrated is a bad experience. In the event a red sticker appears in the battery compartment, the warranty will expire. There is a VERY high likelihood of voiding the warranty with a device that is exposed to liquids.

Worked for me! In a matter of two months, my 20-yr-old son went from drenched every night to dry every night
5/5

We tried it because the doctors said it wouldn't work since he is a sound sleeper, but they said it wouldn't work, so we thought we would try it anyway since we had exhausted all other options and it worked beautifully. One week of progress was seen. In spite of the occasional accidents, the tracking chart helped us to get over our discouragement. This is something I highly recommend! The complaints about durability were not experienced by us but we were very careful not to treat it roughly because the reviews were so good. For the last two weeks, there have been no accidents and he no longer uses the alarm. As for my husband, he was afraid that this would affect his sleep, yet he hasn't noticed any issues.

It would have been nice if I had discovered it sooner
5/5

Despite having the ability to keep his bed dry, my six-year-old had been unable to do so. We had a lot of work to do and he was upset about it. a variety of things including giving him a cd with suggestions (which worked for my first child), sleeping in the room with him, waking him up in the middle of the night to bring him to the bathroom, and not wearing a pull-up. I couldn't get anything to work. Over a year ago, I read on the internet that the alarms often didn't work, so I didn't proceed further at that time. This is the only alarm I could find out of other options. This product seemed expensive at first, but it proved to be worth it. I will save money because I won't have to buy pull ups as often, and I won't have to wash my clothes I thought this tool was great. For the child to use it, the instructions state he/she must be at least six years old. Unlike Pavlov's dog, I perceive it as having a conditioning model. Getting up and going to the bathroom while in bed in response to the alarm encourages the child to associate having to go to the bathroom with getting up and going. Children do not have to 'work' at it to have a dry bed. They just need to be motivated to do so. By the time their underwear gets wet, they have become accustomed to the alarm.

Buying a cheaper version is better
3/5

According to the instructions, we used the product. Several months are needed, but it appears to be working now. The directions stated that we should clean and store. Then we needed to use it again, but it wouldn't work. Around a year later, we got a new computer. reached out to the company and received responses that bordered on the insane. If you're interested in seeing the emails, I'd be glad to share them. Since they were so off, I initially believed that the address I sent the email to was wrong. you to use a cheaper model, so you won't be spending a lot of money on something that will only work for a short period of.

It's been a month since we had no sleep! This surprised me since I had no expectations
5/5

I am glad I gave it a shot and I One week from today, my son will be six years old. We woke up twice a week the first week with a wet mattress, even with pull-ups. We were waking up every day with a soggy bed prior to getting the alarm. You still put on a pull up over underwear three times a week. Our sleeping pattern reduced to one night wakeup by week three. In the month since we dropped the pull ups, our children are sleeping through the night and waking up It still amazes us that everything works so well and he is so excited and proud about it. recommend it to anyone who has nighttime accidents on a consistent basis.

I am amazed
5/5

I had to write a review because I was so excited. We have tried waking up my 8 year old son to go potty at night for the last several years but it never worked. He is such a heavy sleeper that we woke him up at night every night for several years to have him go potty. It was the alarm that helped him make the connection in his brain that he had to leave. Following all instructions exactly, he had a couple of accidents the first 10 days then stayed dry the rest of the time. After that, no more alarms went off. As per the directions, we continued to use it for the next two weeks. He was completely dry after that, and he woke up to use the restroom on his own. There have been no accidents so far and it has been a few months since then. Would have been better if it had been done.

It never occurred to us that anything would work until we tried it! A product I've used on two of my children has worked
5/5

Having run out of ideas to try, we tried a variety of different methods. The doctor referred us to a specialist, who told us to try a product like this one. We bought a product similar to this one and are pleased with results. After reading many positive comments about this product, I decided to give it a try after searching on Amazon. I am glad I did because it has exceeded my expectations. I applied it every night for about 2 weeks and after that first dry night, I had my first sinus infection. We had ups and downs over the following weeks, but all has improved and in less than 2 months we haven't had any more accidents. A similar result was seen when we used it on our 5-year-old. Since then, we have only had dry nights for the past two months. Despite knowing that our kids slept heavily, we did not realize that was what caused them to wet the bed so much. The friends and family we spoke with said they would get over it eventually. It looks like they might not grow out of this for quite some time. We cannot stress enough how wonderful this product is. If your family is in the same boat as mine, then do not hesitate to buy this product. You will wish you had purchased it sooner.
