How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

A sensor and cable for the DryBuddyEZ attaches to standard cotton briefs to detect urine (wetness). The Hold-Tight stainless steel clip has been updated to make it easier to attach to the In order to remove a clip from an underwear brief, about 30 Newtons of force are required. A clip like this is about 50% more secure than the most common sensor clip. The clip is easy to use and easy to clean.
A telephone jack type plastic connector 616E is attached to the cable for the DryBuddyEZ alarm box. As long as the attachment is firm, it cannot be accidentally pulled loose. Any other brand of bedwetting alarm which uses a 616E or RJ11 connector to connect the sensor cable to the alarm box can be used as a replacement. There are several common brands included in this category. Taking advantage of this low-cost solution will allow you to use a high-quality sensor.
88 cms (34") is the length of this long sensor cable. From the point of attachment on the briefs to the connector on the alarm box, this is the length of the cable. The sensor can be used with any bedwetting alarm box that has a 616E or RJ11 port. Its socket size is used by many manufacturers, and this sensor is of good quality and inexpensive.
The clip's sensors detect moisture between its jaws when the jaws are closed if the sensor detects moisture that triggers the alarm. A second alarm will sound if the jaws touch each other (for instance, if the brief clip comes off during closure of the jaws). A sensor will not trigger the alarm unless there is an electrical connection between the jaws, such as when one of the jaws touches another or if the cloth in the jaws is wet.
A thick diaper should not be used with this sensor. Wear cotton briefs with the sensor attached, and then diapers over the briefs if necessary. A 90-day limited warranty is provided for both the sensor and the cable, but this does not cover physical damage.

Easy to remove from clothes, but not so easy to attach
3/5

An easy way to attach underclothes is not available. In spite of the fact that the product is new, the sensor has failed to work several times, and it sometimes sets off the alarm even in dry conditions.

I like this one a lot better
5/5

I like this one a lot better. If closed without anything inside, it doesn't make a sound and holds on a lot better than a conventional one.

It was a perfect fit
5/5

The work fine and fit the alarm unit even though it's a different brand to the one it originally came with. The child tends to pull the sensor off without releasing it, but it hasn't been damaged. As far as durability goes, it appears to be better than before.

The Malem system is supported! I saved a great deal of money by using this sensor! A problem with the Malem alarm is that once it goes off, it won't stop beeping, even after it is reset This should be attached to dry cloth after setting
5/5

The sound of this is very annoying at When I first heard about the alarm, I thought that I would have to replace my entire Having introduced the Drybuddy into our lives, now when the alarm goes off in the middle of the night, when you are being woken up you just "do what you have to do" and switch out the sensor cable to dry your underwear while you are awake. Despite the fact that it is not as sturdy as the original Malem clip, it still works well.

In fact, I am very pleased with this product

My child broke the other cable (our fault, but that's another story) and I was delighted that I could just order a new part instead of getting Our family has had this alarm for a second time in the last year. Using standard shipping, it arrived in only a couple days in the price it was advertised.

This clip does not work like a clothespin
4/5

Instead, it operates by pulling the lever up, then inserting it. This product is compatible with Rogers clippo alarms. I only could complain that it took me a while to get the clip to attach to This is not a clip that you pull up and insert the clothes in. It is a lever that you open and close.

It works just as well, so you can save This alarm is an excellent replacement for Malem
5/5

As a mother, I felt badly for my son after he broke the sensor while sleeping. The device has been with me for over 3 months and continues to work.
