My daughter didn't like wearing it around her neck because it was small and convenient. So I decided to buy the armband, which I think is a great idea. The alarm was snugly tucked into the armband, and the hole was large enough to reach the alarm buttons. The wires were also simple to put in and take out. It was perfect for when my daughter went to bed because she felt like a sprinter. It is both comfortable and practical. There have been no complaints. The quality and construction are excellent. This book comes highly recommended.
The alarm is fantastic, and I believe my 6-year-old and I have finally figured out how to deal with the wetness. I highly recommend it. However, this case does not seem to be the best match for the alarm. Because my child dislikes sleeping in a shirt, this was an unavoidable evil. He's a taller 6-year-old, and the strap is too short for him to wear on his upper arm comfortably. He eventually decided to wear it around his wrist, which worked out fine. The Chummie Premium alarm didn't fit into the case very well. Perhaps the Chummie Elite would be a better fit. The wire connecting the armband to the alarm rubbed against the side of the armband, and I believe this caused the wire to become disconnected from time to time. The velcro holding the alarm cover lid in place is flimsy. After a couple of weeks of use, it feels like it's coming undone, and I have to really press it together to keep it from falling apart.
In general, this arm-length The band is a great addition to the chummie system, but my child complains about its size and comfort, which is likely due to the fact that I don't tighten the strap too much for fear of cutting off his circulation. Because the pocket in which the chummie alarm fits is slightly larger than the alarm, I expected it to fall out while he slept, but it did not. He didn't care for the orange color and preferred a blue one. The material is stiff and "scratchy," as he describes it. I gave it four stars because there are no other colors available and the material is stiff.
It's simple to set up a wetting alarm, but your child might be bothered. My friend claimed that her son wore the armband for comfort, and she was absolutely correct! It can be used as a storage pouch as well as a wearable container at night. The armband adds comfort and secures the alarm on the side of the arm, where it's needed the most. There will be no more squeezing of the collarbone and chest. In addition, my daughter thought this was a sports band and had fun with it. It inspired her to use the alarm, which is usually the most difficult thing for her to do. This is an accessory that is highly recommended and required.
This is even worse than the clip that comes with the chummir alarm. The wire can't be tucked in, so it pulls out all the time, causing false alarms. The wire must run from the sensor outside to the armband, and it simply does not stay out when you move around. It's better if you tape the plug in, but I broke mine trying to pull it out in the middle of the night. Keep the clip or add a small Velcro pocket to the inside of the kids' jammies. It's preferable to put in 10 minutes rather than squandering money.
My son was waking up on time, but he moved around a lot while sleeping. The armband was useful because it kept the alarm strapped to his arm throughout the night, allowing him to move around without fear of the alarm going off. It's soft and spongy, and it's extremely comfortable. This is an excellent addition to a bedwetting alarm.
He is simply a deep sleeper who does not wake up to use the restroom. As a result, I decided to buy the entire Chummie bed wetting alarm system. Our son is a bit husky, but this didn't even come close to fitting on his arm, and he didn't like it in the first place. In terms of comfort and ease of use, the Chummie system is the best I've come across for the money.
This was exactly what we needed. My son would move around a lot in bed and complain that his bedwetting alarm was bothering him while he slept, causing him to wake up frequently. As a result, we decided to give this accessory a shot. It is, in essence, a secure method of alarm installation. You take the alarm out of the pouch, place it inside, and close it. After that, you place the sensor in place. Simple. I was unsure if it would fit, but it can be adjusted. It is extremely simple to operate. It increased his comfort by a factor of ten, and he slept better as a result. It works in a similar way to a jogging armband. If you have a child who uses a bedwetting alarm, get it. I washed it with clothes in the washing machine and it came out fine.
